Sound Like Petrucci with Line 6 Pod Go
Музыка
For my Presets visit: johnnathancordy.gumroad.com/ As requested. @John Petrucci was one of the sole reasons I first got into @MESA/Boogie amps, so when I was asked to take a look at trying to get a JP tone, there are bits and pieces that I remember (and lots that I don't). Petrucci over the years has definitely had a thing for the Mark amps but there's also plenty of rectifier in there - especially around the Train of Thought era which was when I discovered DT. This Preset uses just the Mark 4 as I can do dual amping or dual cabs in the Pod Go
This preset is called "Petrucci RhyLead"
I've decided to make it possible to grab both my Helix/HX Stomp bundles (the expression bundle with freeze presets has always been separate) together for £5 - www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr... - I will then email you a link to both bundles!
You can get my EXPRESSION patches in this bundle using this link - I will then send out the patches! www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...
Try my patches (60-70+) for Helix or HX Stomp in this bundle for £3 using this link - I will then send out the patches! www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...
Try my patches for Pod GO for £3 using this link - I will then send out the patches! www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...

I've never heard dream theater and I don't have a pod go. Yet here we are.

Listen to some Dream Theater, they are pretty good and have enough albums that there is something for everyone
Sounds great as usual, nice to hear you play with some more 'metallic' vibes as well as your awesome jazzy / eric johnson-ish style. Nice that you tried the Mark V \m/
Thanks I will get it from your folder. The more I use the pod go the more I like it. I have a Mesa 5:50 and it sounds great into the effect loop width the cabs turned off. For my one project I been taking it and just plugging in thr mixer and it sounds great. No one is yelling at me to turn down or turn up. I do need a bit of boost for leads but working on it with snap shots as you suggested. Thanks for all your help.
Great video, loved the tone
Very nice job John!! I Have my tix for Dream Theater this March! it will be my 10th time seeing them live!
intro tune is sick 🤘
John started using the Road King series on Train of Thought. He usually quadruple tracks his guitars using 2 with the recto panned hard left and right, then he uses the Mark IIC+ for the other two. He solely used the recto on When Dream and Day Unite and Images & Words. On the past few albums he has been solely using his JP2C
Sweet Stuff Bro🔥
Hi-Cut down to 4khz for lead tones, eh? The 57 and 421 is bright! I just discovered dual-cabs and that's the only instance I can use a 57 on it's own. I kept thinking I was supposed to turn the bass down to between 0 - 1.5 on the Boogies. But I see that JP and you're using a tube screamer type OD to cut out the flub. Great video! Like the straight to the point settings. Assuring of how I approach my straightforward signals, instead of multiple paths and fx etc.
Thanks for sharing. I've been considering buying a POD Go and was really wondering about it's capabilities. Especially with high gain and dialing in Petrucci tones.
Sounds more like another great video from the Cordy Phenom
That lead tone is absolutely great!
I like running this particular amp model, because i have space to run a comp or a noise gate up front
Nice
Sir pls send me the link I wanted to buy this John petrucci tone
