Hey Damian, great job acknowledging Grady Martin. He was a tour de force. I'm relieved there's still folks out there who are wholly aware of players like Martin, Garland, and other session aces at a very important time in our musical history. I'm in Gainesville, and if you're ever interested, some day I'll mosey down to Tampa and buy ya lunch.

Grady's licks on El Paso are also some of my favorites. Have them all tabbed out. There is a KZread video of Marty Stuart doing El Paso with his band, the . Fabulous Superlatives. Kenny Vaughan does Grady's licks, and embellishes a couple of them. All while making it look effortless -- which I know it's not. Even Marty was impressed, as evidenced by his reaction @ the end of the song. Check it out. Highly recommended.
