Kumiko is probably one of the most realistic, relatable characters in anime. Her development throughout both seasons is worth watching. I highly recommend this to everyone!

I think most of the characters in this show were very realistic and relatable, sometimes they do some childish stuff but mainly for "moeservice reasons" (except Saphirre, she is moe all the time, aaand that's fine, I guess) and the drama is very down to earth. Really great show! Started a few days ago and I'm in love.

Kumiko's character development was just so inspiring! I always remember her when I am slacking off and feel down, I remember that scene of her when she was on the bridge :"(

That line, “I want to improve.” Always sticks with me. Not just band but everything really.

Just finished watching season 1 and I can't believe I could have lived my life without it. This is a PERFECT series. 10/10, not exaggerating. Please, give yourself a gift and watch it now if you haven't. Passionate, heartwarming, sincere, wonderful... P.S. Thank you forever Sound! Euphonium for making all those dark days truly bright ones.

This one surprised me - a great series. I love the musical competition shows (e.g. Sound! Euphonium, Love Live!, Given) because they really give you an uplifting story and good characters you can root for. Thanks to KyoAni for creating this one, and I hope they recover soon.

Appreciate Crunchyroll for posting one of Kyoto Ani's finest works. They better than anyone else undertand how to make a damn catchy and great opeings and animes. May all those wonderful people rest in peace. Anime has lost some of it's best and brightest, and most of all humble creators.

I always been in love with Kumiko. This song moves me to tears, is so good.

The opening gives me so much nostalgia. I remember watching this anime back when it aired. And I just recently watched it again. It really is one of my top favorite. It's so good

Kyoani strong

This (in my opinion) is one of the best animes ever. This anime is also so so so underated!

Exactly shy can't tell anything at all in beginning when final approaches she know everthing and everyone devolopment of herself is amazing when i heard this anime i think it is worth a try and did not disappoint me especially kumiko and reina and their friendship that i had never had close friend at all.

to anyone seeing this comment and considering watching this show, WATCH THIS SHOW IMMEDIATELY. this anime is absolutely life changing.

when do the movie take place I havn't wached the series yet but I want to wach it all in the order it came out

A more legendary version of this song was performed during Animelo Summer Live 2019 (Anisama) by TRUE and Kitauji Quartet and it even had an orchestra just like in the anime. It sounds so good that it actually exceeds the original version which is this one.

just finished season 1 and 2 plus the movie today and i already miss this anime so much. i thought a silent voice was my untouchable top 1 but this anime easily surpassed it

I played euphonium in high school and nobody outside of band ever knew what it was, nice to see my instrument get some love 😁

I'm happy I was able to experience this show

This right here is the show that made me fall in love with anime. Everything from the animation and music, to the story and voice acting is just amazing. Thank you KyoAni, for making one of my favorite anime ever.
