Creating a good sound (audio) track takes more effort than many think. Double sound effects are awesome. Thanks for your tutorials, great as always.
Sound sfx can change the feel of the video so much without even noticing.A good sound design example is when its not distracting and noticeble.Using sounds is a very effective way to cut between scenes and is used in movies all the time.Hey ..Great video Aidin🤘🏻
7 mins of pure gold! Great work man
Every time I rewatch your tuts, I realize how brilliant they are! This video is incredible useful! Thank you thank you!

Great and informative tips👍
Hey Aidin. Can you do a tutorial of how you did the 3D text in the intro. It was minimalistic and amazing. Would love to learn that from you.

Really like the idea of nesting the entire sequence. Gonna give that a try next video
Great tips! Will aim to use them in my future videos. Thanks 👍

I'd like to just point out your speech. It's fantastic to learn from a tutor with a real clear idea of what he is saying. You never use umm, ahh, ugh or stutter in anyway, your speech is concise and you convey your lessons clearly and succinctly. Not to mention the patience and dedication you put into the b roll side of things, I would be honored to work with someone with your attention to detail and precision, the people that do are lucky and I hope they know it. The best of luck with your career man, very keen to see what you get upto. Connor
Some great tips here👍🏼

Great job with the intro man. Thats so cool. Thank you. How did you get those overhead shots? Do you have a rig or just tripods.
最尾個剪影真係好正·~~
where did you get your sound effects specifically the keys, the car sound and other staff ? did you record it on your own ? or it's from epidemic sound ?

Thanks so much for your helpful tipps Aidin! I finished my Sound Design for an upcoming video, but i am still not sure if it have the right loudness and everything.. i actually want to make it pop out from the song, but nether to loud cause it can be a lil stressful as you said. anyone got some tipps? greetings danny
thanks Bhai i mean thanks brother
Nesting the whole sequence to sound design the whole thing without the visual cuts is a really good tip! Thank you so much!
Awesome Tutorial! You should think about doing a video on sound design without music. A lot of times music is used as a band-aid to hold everything together so it would be cool to see how you edit a scene without music and how you use sound design to tie everything together seamlessly. I'd be pumped to watch that one.

Luke Milano Listen again and ask yourself whether the music, in some cases, is disguising the fact that the sound effects are from a library rather than recorded for this video :)

Rory on a Bike it probably is but he’s good enough at sound design to make it sound real even without music

Luke Milano This video promotes the purchase of a sound effects library. There isn’t a single sound in the video that he couldn’t have easily recorded himself, for free, and some of them would have sounded better for it, indeed more real. The music helps “fix” that.

Rory on a Bike I honestly don’t know what point you’re trying to make lol. But all I’m saying is it’d be pretty cool if he did a video teaching people how to do sound design for scenes that don’t have music because it’s pretty hard to do and I think a lot of people would like it. He could easily get it done with the sound effects on epidemic sound and still promote their library.
Is that your Acura RSX? I noticed the seats haha anyways Awesome video! I am wanting to elevate my editing/filming game with better sound design. Thanks for the tips! See you on the next one
Hey really good video. Just everyone please note epidemic sound! If you cancel your subscription or end your free trial. Epidemic sound will copyright claim all of yours videos with music or sound effects you've used from epidemic sound! So you are basically tied perminently to paying for epidemic sound or need to delete all your videos with their music etc on if you want to cancel your subscription!

@@chrprior hey, I'm not sure when I wrote that comment. I would have come back and updated but tbh forgot I'd left it. Since leaving that comment I have learnt from epidemic sound directly they have recently changed their terms and conditions or at least since I left that comment. Now as long as you are not using a trial version and you only upload videos with their music while your subscription is valid and active, if you then cancel your subscription they now won't copyright claim your videos for an indefinite period! But if you cancel your subscription and then upload a video that has their music on then they will copywright claim your video which is fair enough.
yo aidin, have you seen cinecom.net’s new video about tracking 3d camera motion? they did an awesome time freeze effect where polaroid’s appear to be floating and are tracked really well using AE’s 3d camera effect. was wondering whether you could recreate this in hitfilm express?
OMG THIS FUCKING ALARM SOUND!!!!!
how do i do this with the background music
Hello new subscriber here, can you put down all the download links of the sound effects you used please.

is there a way to make in premiere those content aware following texts like the cellphone ones, without doing it frame by frame?
@AidinRobbins

Not to my knowledge - only way I know of to do those is with motion tracking in After Effects
I feel like the audio is 1 or 2 frames faster than the video..
Hey Aidan. Can you please tell me the Aspect Ratio of this Video? Im watching the Videos on my iPhone XS. Its covering up the fullscreen but without showing the Notch. Please help me out!

Where do you learn this stuff? are you all self taught ?
does anyone know how to sound design transitions like samkolder does in his video? for example in his video music is playing in the background but then suddenly after a transition, he focuses on a phone and then the BGM sounds like it's coming from his phone's speakers
@xKouhai

EQ (high-pass filter or something I guess??) and volume control I guess. Playing around with bass and treble could also lend you some nice results.
@AidinRobbins

Yo! Which video? Sounds like either a high pass or lowpass filter to me
@roryonabike5863

If he has iZotope RX, which he probably does, there are presets that will create that effect. Manually, it’s done with equalization by manipulating the frequency range of the music.

@@AidinRobbins Sorry I did not meant he's showing his actual phone but in his GymShark video when he step out from airport then inter on a taxi the background music suddenly change's like it's get suppressed or I'm inside a pool can't here it and In one video music is playing but suddenly after a transition train pass by and then the bgm is sound like a radio or it's coming out from a headphone it's confusing don't have words to explain but thank you sir I'm Going to try your suggestion highpass and lowpass? OK.
Awesome stuff, but I still think you should remove the background music.
