There's a difference between someone who can play chords and someone who can play a song. That difference often comes in the spaces BETWEEN the chords.
To do that, great pianists use riffs and fills. They sound advanced, stylish, and really cool.
But they are super-simple to learn. I'll show you 3 of my favorite fills that I use all the time. We'll use the song "Let Her Go" by Passenger to demonstrate.

    I used to just think that the left hand is just for playing chords and the right hand for playing riffs or lead.. But well, the opposite sounds pretty amazing too! And these tips that you share, it just makes every average looking song sound extraordinary! It's just amazing!
