Have you enabled resource collection in their inventory? Ours have it sometimes disabled after server restarts

can i put the nest in an inclosed base? or do the nests need to be outside in grass?

It can be placed inside but make sure the monkeys have access to it

How my monkeys never find nothing or like mushrooms?

Okay I'm confused here, my monkeys just refuse to put food they gather into the monkey storage OR our food chest and are just hoarding it on themselves, why?

I am fairly certain their AI breaks after a while. Ours were just running around confused and after a server restart, the nest was packed full.

I find this to be the case for quite a few AI actions. One example is interaction with tribesmen. One or more will occasionally start glitching. Restarting solves it.
