SOULMASK: How To Tame a Parrot? - Quick and Easy!

In PvE, I don't think it is worth waiting. What worked out for me in single player was setting up 3 small traps where monkeys and parrots roamed, then went to restock my green crystals and 15-20 minutes later I had 2 parrots and 1 monkey... thankfully, the spot was close to my base. The only risk in PvE I guess is if you are playing in a server that allows stealing (default/official doesn't).
