2024 is starting out to be AWESOME for the Vita Community! We just received a Second port for our beloved handheld! First was NeedForSpeed HotPursuit & now we got SoulCalibur!! Damn. One of my favorite games. I use to play it on Ps2 back in the day, but to have it on the Vita is amazing. I would definitely give this a try. Appreciate the guide Dr Brute 👊🏼

I play it on my samsung z fold 6 with a controller, ppsspp is what the app is called. If you have an android, go for it!

As far as I know, soul calibur 1 was never released on PS2. There's only the original version for Dreamcast and a digital adaption for Xbox 360

@@Hgd24478 I'm well aware of it but I played Soul Calibur 2 and went up from there but never got to play the 1st one since I never owned a OG Xbox or Dreamcast. So to play it on the Vita was truly amazing. It felt like it was made for the console.

when i open the game, a pop up says i don't have the data files in the correct place when i put the data files in the data folder on my vita

Make sure there’s no subfolder inside the soulcalibur folder. There should only be the soulcalibur folder & inside the folder should be the gamefiles & folders.

@e7 Nvm figured out what the problem was. the data folder you provided on your discord was spelled "soulcaliber" I went and fixed it to "soulcalibur" like the way the game has it spelled and now it works fine
We need the android version of resident evil 4 on the vita

Because you need to acquire the gamedata files & providing the gamefiles is considered piracy. If vitadb does that then it can get taken down
Looks like the game is locked at 30fps, needs a patch
