Fantastic battle report. I always love the break downs in between rounds and a found this video to be especially on point in that regard.

I love both paint schemes. I love the dark paint schemes SOW does. But that SBGL is 🔥

Absolutely awesome game! Could've gone either way. Also, I wanted to mention the great job that Jordan does painting these armies (this DoK one, khorne, tzeench...) to a battle ready+ standard (I think he's the one painting them, but please correct me if I'm wrong). Solid airbrush work and striking metallics, give them a great look in the table top. I was actually wondering which gold you use??, it looks so rich! Thanks for another great battle report. Keep up the good work!

Be able to bring back so many models is so good for SBGL late game objectives control! So good!

Well done, Soulblight Gravelords! I'm not rooting for them so much as I'm rooting against the Daughters of Khaine. :P The chipping game against Morathi was on-point and the Neferata held firm with a 2+ Unrendable Save, as should be expected. It all went as it should, even with the DoK double turn.

2 unrend and you forgot the -1 to be hit, 6 ward, and healing like 6 wounds everytime she fight

@@toro132 her spell was rightly nerfed and the double turn is still broken. If anything this game shows just how easy sbgl is with double unkillable monsters. If he had doubled back turn 3 like the rules should be after turn 2 double, it would have been instantly over.

@@rotm4447 neferata have had this spell since his old book and wasnt changed even when they had 40% win rate and were the botton for the last year,so as is broken when the non nerfed spell got vampires a the botton for the last year?

@@toro132 Because both she and the book overall is better than it was last year, duh. A 2+ invul has no business existing, and they have been running her with 10x BKs with a 2+ save, and winning with that list since the book came out off of that gimmick.

Bless Jordan for constantly trying to make Lifetakers to work in lists. Love the dedication.

I made the mistake of building them as Lifetakers during the like 1 week they were good two years ago haha - regretting it ever since :P

There's so much value in giving the turn away!

Maybe a dumb question but how the soublight can have 3 artefact? One is mandatory anothers with the bataillon but the third??

I wondered that as well. In the official app it doesn't work either, I created the list as well and you can't have the same artefact twice and three artefacts in general if you only have one entourage

Random question.. Does the Skeletal legion rule bring a model back per 4+ or is it supposed to be just one comes back if you get any 4+?

No, their unnecessary points increases they got last battlescroll update made them lose out on 2 units.

DoK list is 1970. The infographic is wrong. There were 15 bow snakes in a single unit not 10.

Are we sure that you can control multiple objectives turn 1 even when they're not active? re: SBGL battle tactic

Yep! Mission states you cannot score it, not that you don't control it - as opposed to other missions that state you cannot control them turn 1 (for example)

Wish you guys showed the dice rolls. That’s the fun part is saying the things and rolling the dice!

Yep - it was filmed before the FAQ!

As always : if you split your attacks, you'll get screwed ! Make sure you kill the Knights or make sure you kill Neferata, not both :P

Morathi wouldn't have dealt damage to either target - so didnt matter much in the end sadly!

@@SeasonofWar true, but 3 lost wounds to Morathi, means she dies then later at a beginning of a turn leaving zombies ready to take the unleach hell of the snakes instead of Neferata. When you strike hard but are not so resilient, avoid splitting as much as possible as remains of unit can overwhelm you afterwards (like the knight that soloed the Khinerai)

is before or after the faq that did useless neferata and legion of blood?

@@MKDietz lol if you know the stats of the army before of this book and after yes it is useless, the new book nerfed MANY things as the free atack of small heroes,the debuff of leadership deleted,the extra units gone in failled leadership check and a huge etc, and only got buffed to compesate these nerfs the new redeploy of neferata,the hit with 2 trait and the ignore wards. and of these the redeploy and hit with 2 have been overnef and is useless now AND moreover the neferata spell that wasnt changed for years have been done 100% useless now and only is good against rend 2 or more,so now neferata cost 50!!!! expensiver than old and moreover got his spell nerfed into the uselesness. there isnt point to play blood now because havent nothimg

@@toro132 I'm going to assume you don't play regularly or even in tournaments cause your analysis is off imo, a 3+ unrendable is not useless. Against anything -1 to hit it equates to finest hour or mystic shield, vs anything more than that it's an added bonus, and you can still decide what you actually want to cast it on. The two heroic actions are really powerful, don't know what to tell you bud, but you are way off

@@MKDietz 3+ unrend is useless, against 0 rend is a nerf because you cant use any buff as mystic shield,against rend 1 is the same because without the spell we can use mystic shield or cp to get +1 save and negate the rend, then ONLY against rend 2+ is better. in the game the 70% of weapons are 0 rend, 29% are rend 1 and only the 1 are rend 2+. so yes the new spell is useless or even a nerf in the 99% of situations. seems you dont know maths dude and you are the clasical dude that need 999999 games to learn that do a unit when math and mathammer answer every question

The battletome is just dated. Would love to see it completely changed up with the 4.0 one. Legion of Blood have an insane w/r atm and one of the top meta armies.

I feel yeah, loved the army but it felt like they nerfed the wrong thing in pts. Would have perfered to see bowsnakes go up instead of blood sisters.

DoK list is wrong, you can have another 5 bow snakes to that list

Didn't need to, nef did all the damage she needed to. She can't do more than 3 damage.

@@leejesm correct auto kill only puts 3 wounds on her and she can only suffer 3 a turn.

Classic new book with easy battle tactics, easy resurrection and powerful spells and rules vs an older book. I dont know why GW hasn't learned yet. Stop power creeping books....
