    This is such needed information. Unfortunately those who need to understand are being brainwashed to reject all of their history or anything w makes them uncomfortable …..or anything that simply makes them afraid they’ll owe someone’s descendants something if they acknowledge it. Such wicked evil times.

    I can definitely attest to this as an indigenous american! Reclaiming the parts of my culture that we were discouraged from participating in (or even outlawed from participating in) is a very healing activity. I had a black drink ceremony with some of my native friends last year and while many of the original ingredients were lost to time we were able to make a good substitute. It was incredible and transformative. I'm learning my native language and doing my ancestors proud by existing boldly as myself.
