i often find i have no self-identity. i say things about myself that i later over analyze and think about, realizing that they might not be true. i don't feel like i know who i am or what i believe in. when i have an opinion, i often hear other people's ideas and question mine. i mean, these are completely separate beings coming to a conclusion that they are confident enough to share with me! i think that who we are, or our "soul" is something that exists separate from our day-to-day life (or is it?!). there is something about being alive that is beautiful, beyond what we do with it. we have to learn to love ourselves no matter what we do or who we are, because it will translate to loving others a lot more. there shouldn't be fear of not knowing. who knows anything, really?! nobody reaches a point where they say: you know what? i know everything about who i am. we spend our lives as a journey, discovering the things we like and the things we enjoy, and then rediscovering them, again and again. no matter what form, there still exists a piece that makes us ourselves, that is separate from the external experiences. how else would we change and yet be the same person? time is a silly illusion...

I cant recall but at the end did he end up with the delivery girl? also I watched the anime, didn't read the manga. sorry for my bad englishh

curlee butler It was written by the same man that wrote Hunter X Hunter. It's about a spirit detective who takes on cases concerning demons who have made there way to the human world. There's even a character who the writer of Naruto stole to make Sasuke. (but he's not lame like Sasuke.) If you like old-school tournament anime then this is the show for you. The characters and villains are amazing.

For 11 months, this has been my go to mix for everything. Every time i'm stuck in my feelings and my existential depression I turn this on, and then everything sort of makes sense. I still feel as if I am nothing and have trouble accepting it, but this always brings my feelings out. Every time I hear this mix, I cry. It allows me to express how I truly feel and explore myself. I never do find the answer but I never give up. Before I discovered this mix, I would always turn to the darker side, and contemplate suicide, and drown in my own fears and insecurities. After discovering it, I listen to it and become determined. It reminds me that I truly do want to live, even if I have no reason to. It reminds me of every great thing that has happened in my life and makes me realize the beauty of everything. I may feel worthless, but life is definitely worth it. I think of all the great times I've had as a kid, to all the fights and misunderstandings I've had with my family, and the times I took too many drugs to name to "enjoy" life. It has helped me discover a lot, and has even gotten me to push myself away from all the drugs and alcohol. Even if I don't feel appreciated or meaningful, I think life is. So every single day, I try new stuff and take new approaches to everything. I have discovered a lot of things I enjoy, like fishing, reading, and embracing my feelings instead of hiding them and pushing them away. I always try to move forward, learn, and grow. I do my best to help others and teach them things. I constantly ask questions and learn. I let my feelings out instead of digging a deeper hole and beat myself to death for being who I am. I now embrace it and do everything I can to continue to grow. Each day is a new opportunity, and no matter what happens, I never just "give up". I may still be searching but in a sense I am found. Thank you for showing me the light.

Fuck. I really needed this. I typed in soul searching. Honestly I feel empty probably depression but this music makes me feel ok for the time being. Thanks.

I really like the use of imagery contrasting with the music. The more opaque colours of the old anime really suits well with the music. It feels like I'm in 70-90's japan. It gives that summer heat feeling of sitting in your room and the pools of the sun's rays coming through the curtain's and heating your leg as you watch the dust in the limelight swivel and gyrate. It definitely gives a good vibe of reminiscence of old meaningful anime. Especially berserk- the scene with gutts and casca! Overall great video, I really like the contrast.
