I was thinking about it too, ending with a thought "When I have a daughter, if I have a daughter, I want her to be just like that" Physically not too strong but strong enough to handle rough situations with a strong will. Looking a little messy but trying her best to still look good. Being sad about the tough times in life that we all have, but still strong enough to look forward and enjoying those little pauses, even if covered by blood. And in the end, just rise up and go on to the next challenge, not to enjoy it but to surpass it, hoping for better times.

even when I was like 10 watching soul eater for the first time in 2014 and didn’t know what the lyrics to this song were, it hit me as extremely emotional and made me cry. now that I know the meaning of the song it makes me feel so melancholy. growing up and realizing when you’re beginning to phase into adulthood is such an emotional process.

Even if it isn't stated in the song and the song isn't really about it,but given the part of the series which it plays in,Asura's resurrection,which is probably the darkest part of the anime,this song basically tells the audience that "Everything will be alright in the end,and if it is not alright,it is not the end" . Aswell as calming down all the cries of fury and sorrow at the episode's end.

i looked up the lyrics and to me it sounds more religious to me cause it says god in it and at the end it says please give light to this world all right, at least to me it sounds religious, but i guess you can see it that way to, i kinda got that vibe at the end paragraph in the english lyrics

I feel like both the anime and manga have good and bad parts about them. I do prefer how the anime gave everyone happy endings, but the manga despite having a bittersweet ending had more intrigue.

I don't know what it is with this song, but it hits some sort of long-hidden childhood button for me (mid-50's. Gen X, so from the 70s and 80s). That guitar melody is so clean and sweet, and the vocals are evocative with being pretentious.

Nostalgia pura... rayos.... cuando recién entré a la Universidad,la iba escuchando en el camino de regreso a casa todos los días.

I used to listen and sing to this song so much back in my teen days. I sang so much that even up until today i still unconciuosly hummed and sang a part of the song that I still remembers without even realising it. Now that I am here it really takes me back into that nostalgic lane 🥲

I watched this 4 years ago and this series leaded me to the whole anime universe! No matter how time flies , Soul Eater will always be my favorite! So nostalgic💖💖💖
