I remember when I used to open the galleries in SC3 while my dad was sitting on the couch watching me and would say "your just looking at pictures?!" When I was actually just trying to enjoy the music😆. Now that he has passed away, I would always remember great memories of me with him everytime I hear this

This song reminds of my elementary days in my ps2 game❤❤❤ brings a lot of memories i played 4am in the morning when i have no class.

This is the music you put to a montage of surviving characters living a happy life and reaching old age, remembering the friends they've lost along the way and all the fun and insane adventures they had. They may be gone, but the memories will stay.

I remember how i just opened the gallery in SC3 on my ps2 just to listen to this song. Can’t believe how everything changed since i heard this song for the first time:) so many memories..

1:49 was to much for me I couldn’t deal with all the happiness and memories all coming back at once. I cried for 30 minutes straight. Memories will live on forever but happiness may not treasure them whilst you can.

This song is pure nostalgia. Reminds me of when I played SCIII many years ago, and would take the time to chill and browse the galleries and artwork. SCIII is probably my most nostalgic and memorable one of the lot, seeing as I started with it.

II & III are the best by far. Although the SCIII version of Healing Winds seems more somber than the triumphant feel that you get from the version in SCII.

I cry manly tears at hearing this song back when i played this game on my old ps2... 11 years later at 25 it still beats me. So many memories! time goes by way too fast.

I remember purchasing the SC3 guide book with the game's soundtrack CD at Game Stop a few years back. Best purchase of my life. I listened to that soundtrack all the time

In my honest opinion, SC3 was the best in the series, if only for the Chronicles of the Sword mode. SC4 just seemed too linear, like it was controlling how I played. And I never even played SC5 simply because my favorite characters were omitted.

I totally love SCV. Best online ever, and you should give the new characters a chance. I miss my Sophitia and Cassandra, but i felt in love with Pyrrha as i did with her mother.

I loved viewing all the art work. So many awesome character designs and the concepts for the created characters so many good ones. Beautiful soundtrack. My favorite fighting game.

the most beautiful yet so sad music i ever heard it reminds me of my childhood when i used to play it with my brothers and we played hours and hours

I'm not really one to listen to much videogame music outside of the game any more, but I genuinely don't think a single piece of music will touch me as this one does. The feeling of nostalgia, the wistful, hopeful mood with a touch of melancholy. They truly go above and beyond with the presentation in the SC series, some entries more than others.

I seriously picture every character I've made in my life time, they are standing together, all smiles. They are enjoying the ending of a long but good day at the end of their journey. The single human knight raises his glass and thanks everyone for such wounderful memories and wishes them all a long and happy life.

Every time I hear this song in the gallery mode , this song made me reflect on the struggles I've had in this game!

I'm crying right now 😭😭😭 ... the is heaven , all sorrow have gone now , I can lay down I can close my eyes ... I can now rest is peace .

I cry when I listen to this.

I remember hearing this in the game and just stopping everything and listening. It's like I can just fall into space and travel. Like I can see my entire future ahead of me and I'm not afraid of anything at all. And my life is good and sweet because I'm holding hands watching a sunset with my future soul mate. And as we kiss, everything is...just right.

How’s everything now , is it the same as you had seen while traveling to the future ?

many people stand around a large cathedral as a cleric is in the center of the building, praying over what appears to be a stone. On it were unreadable runes, and next to it, bawling and whimpering, were women and children. On top of the stone was a painted portrait of a hero with his cloak around his shoulders, staring into everyone's eyes with a serene look. The cleric, an ally of war to the fallen hero, even shed a tear at the memories. The two other men beside him, a half elf and an orc, both kept their heads down in silence for their brother in arms. ... ... outside, miles away from the congregated people and standing on mountaintops, that very man stood over them, watching and waiting. His cloak flickered around him like a flag as he weathered the oncoming storm.

You put that comment on all Healing Winds videos why? If you don't like it, there's no reason to go from video to video commenting on the same thing wanting support to support your idea. This is the best version of Healing Winds, so much so that the SC 6 version is similar to this one. I don't see it as melancholy, but as calm, it is made for the player to reflect, to concentrate and relax while enjoying the museum. Because they are relaxed and focused, the player enjoys the music more and that is why until today this was the best version of this song. I'm not the one who says that, just compare the number of likes, dislikes and positive and negative comments. The SC 2 version, although it is good, does not convey that feeling, it does not relax you or help you concentrate, quite the contrary, it is an inspiring song, made to raise the player's esteem.

One of the most under-rated parts of the soul calibur series is the music. The soundtracks are, in all honesty, some of the most amazing instrumental songs I've listened to. It's such a pleasure to just sit back and listen to the music. Very well done.

This song would make me feel better after my save file would get corrupted.

Someone told me years ago that this piece of music sounded like "Believe" from Immediate Music, so I decided to look this song up and listen to it; even now, it is still wonderful to hear. So calming and peaceful. Close your eyes and open your ears and heart. Its like your worries melt away when you listen to this song.

I`ll come by to listen to this melody again and again. It really heals.

@Ryuhza You are so right :) It nearly broke my heart when I got to play the 5th game because almost all of my favourite characters had been removed or replaced by the "new generation". I don't mind progress in the story, but that felt like a slap in the face.. my best friend was very sad when I told her that her favourite character (Kilik) had been replaced and he had become an "all-around" character.

Glad to see so many others enjoying this as much as I did and still do from way back then, before Onine Multiplayer became such a big thing, before youtube got large, I always woundered if I was the only one that went to the Gallery to enjoy this song. :)

In my opinion soul calibers 2 and 3 were the best. 2 because the gamecube version had link and inferno and 3 because of zasalamel and the beautiful graphics.

Agreed. I remember seeing this game for the first time, being a fan of the series since the beginning. I was first amazed by the detail in the graphics, which were beautifully rendered, especially for it's time. That opening sequence is the coolest, most epic thing ever. Then, you learned about the depth of gameplay; all the side games, the collectible artwork, costumes, weapons, colors, and creating a character... One of the biggest mindblows and nerdgasms I've had in my whole life, really.

The best song in the Soul series, and it's for...the museum. I truly feel sorry for anyone who didn't care to look at concept art and the like, because this is the first song that pops into my head when I remember this game. Just, beautiful.
