In this video, I take you in Souk El Had orسوق الأحد the district of El Kasbah in Agadir, Morocco. A souk is an Arab market or marketplace; a bazaar. They can be found all over Northern Africa and even Western Asia. The souks were originally known as an open-air marketplace. Typically they were outside the city centers at places where travelers could stop on their long journeys and the merchants were able to display their merchandise for sale. Arriving caravans in the cities were often times infrequent and being as such a souk was set in place to include cultural festivals and social events. This deeming the souks as a major social function for the city or town it took place in.
A souk was not only a place that serves the community in a commercial way, but historically the souks have always been a place of gathering and meeting for the people. Fast forward to now, many of the souks are now located in the urban city centers.
The souks are typically divided into sections depending on the types of products the merchants sell. They are most commonly are within narrow streets and named after the product that is being sold. Examples would be the gold souk, spice souk, fabric souk, leather souk and so forth. More permanent souks, such as the one in Marrakech, also have sections for money exchange, services, and selling durable goods-aka fashion!

The thing about this souk elhad which is the largest market in all africa is that the merchant speak fluently many languages ! I lived in agadir between 1994 and 1998 and i was astonished that every merchant whether they sell vegetables, fruits, traditional arifacts, spices... spoke fluent german !

Went to several souks and never had a problem. I spent 1 week in the least touristy areas of Agadir and didn't have any issues.

Techniquement, le spectateur n'est pas dans le souk mais devant son écran. C'est donc virtuel. Mais bon je suis aps sur que ce mot est beaucoup de valeur pour trouver la vidéo c'est vrai 🤔

Mais il n'y a pas de musique dans le souk et je veux que ca soit représentatif 😜
Souk el had qui signifie en berbere le marché du coin a ne pas confondre avec la traduction arabe que certains veulent lui subsituer par le marché du dimanche. Agadir etant une contrée berberophone donc inutile de palabrer. Personnellement chaquefois que je visite la region souk el had reste l endroit ideal pour s approvisionner en fruits et legumes frais de grande qualité.je ne m en lasse jamais.

Je ne suis pas sur de suivre. Il y a des endroits ou trouver de la tech au Maroc. Et des endroits ou trouver des fruits et légumes dans les pays dévelopés. Cette vidéo ne montre pas tout un pays mais seulement un petit extrait.

Jette un coup d'oeil à son nom / pseudo.... Ces aieux étaient en manque de nourriture et ils n'ont trouvé que le chocolat comme nom restant pour se l'attribuer....tout le reste était pris... on trouve de toutes les bizarreries chez eux ...( des noms pour animeaux, pout organes sexuels , pour plantes....)
