The playing of this is achievement enough - but I think you've also captured, better than anyone else I've heard, the tone and attitude of Anderson's voice in his delivery of this melancholy and somewhat stinging rebuke of a former lover. You express the bitter, but tired disaffectation that the story tells of an affair that is also a mirror of life. A tale of dissolution between a young man and an older woman - which, through a clever turn of phrase - assumes the much larger and foreboding image of all of us - in our affairs with each other.

Awesome, I was searching on here for the actual song but your version which i didn't even give a chance you totally impressed me.

Andrea, you do a lot of really great covers but I think this one tops them all. It doesn't hurt that it is my favorite Tull track (and its no secret I am a HUGE Tull fan). I would like to see you record multiple takes of Sossity. This is one of my favorite songs to play and I cannot imagine trying to sing it at the same time, certainly not as authentically as you.

Considering Ian Anderson's patchwork in the recording studio, which has overdubbed the guitar and flute several times, I think you've done a great job. The voice is also good and its pairing with the guitar part, especially considering that Ian Anderson certainly recorded them separately. You should only add a couple of missing chords to the chorus, but on the whole: well done!

Well done. The singing was so much like the original which would not have been easy to do. I wonder what guitar you are using? It has a large sound. I think the chorus was not exact. I think Amin , G, Amin, D (F# on 4th string), F , G , Amin. The first few chords I have the open 5th string ringing out. Your cover is great.
