Today I'm sorting my entire collection of Lego bricks (roughly estimated to be 42,000 pieces) by color. Actually the sorting process took about 40 hours of work over an entire week, but I just put podcasts on and plugged away at it!
I found out about halfway through that it's generally better to sort a collection of this size by element type, but by then it was too late to turn back! Plus sorting by color looks better on camera and I wanted to finish this video. I'll probably end up sorting by piece type some time down the line when I find time though.
Have you ever sorted your Legos? If so how did you do it? How long did it take to sort them?

How did you have the motivation to do this because I’ve been trying to sort all my lego and I keep losing motivation
