I only heard No Halo a couple weeks ago and immediately loved it. The video left a big impact on me. I'm 27 and have been dealing with mental health issues for the last 15ish years and over the last 2 or 3 years, I've been diagnosed with Bipolar 2, social phobia, OCD, and ADD. I also have self esteem and body image issues. I lost my grandfather to cancer in December of 2003. I had just turned 13 in September and was in 7th grade. I spent the next 8 years or so mostly numb and unknowingly self medicating by way of pills, booze, pot, and really, anything I thought could get me high. I didn't understand that the things I was feeling and experiencing were something so much more than what I made them out to be. I was moody and an outcast through the rest of junior high and into high school. There's been many times where I've wanted to end it. Even now, it's something I deal with. But all that time, I chalked it up to just being a teenager. Oh it's hormones. Oh it's just what we go through as we grow up. Everybody feels these kinds of things and has these experiences. I thought it was just how life worked. I write all of this to say that No Halo means so much to me. It's so pure and just...raw. I can relate to those depicted through the video from my own experiences and I haven't had a connection like this to music in a very long time. I'll definitely have to pick up all the records when I get a chance to. In closing, I hope everybody in Sorority Noise is safe, healthy, and well. And I hope that someday, I can catch a live show, just to say thank you for creating something so touching. I'll have to get around on social media to follow everyone so if there's new projects, I can be in the know. I know the band won't see this, but if you do. Thank you... -A fan and random dude from the Ass-end of Nowhere, Illinois.

Really appreciate this comment, and hope that life has changed for the better my dude. Sorority Noise as a band has meant much the same thing to me. They make a big point of, "leaving it all on stage" and I can relate to that a lot. Music has always been that way for me. A way in which to express emotion that is deeper than words could ever say. I feel like these guys get that. Music is more than just tunes. It's an expression of our souls. And it frees us from the never-ending hum drum and bustle of everyday life. It makes us feel understood. More than anything it helps us to share our pain and confusion. Real friends are hard to come by. Music has sometimes been a better friend than the people I live my life with. And I think that's okay.

Here I am, watching this again at 2 am, honestly I thought life picked up. Here I am about to fail out of school again. About to disappoint my family again, and lose everything again. I’m dead broke, no job and out of options. But it seems I always come back to their songs when it’s too late to clean up.

Literally 2:19 am. Grandma passed from brain cancer. Friend offed himself. Ex died in an accident. Failed and quit school. Hardly any hours at my job and it gives me anxiety anyways. Stress spending on clothes and things I don’t need. Crush got with someone else only because he has drugs. Best and only friend isn’t allowed to talk to me because of drama my mom started. Now she’s trying to send me to a military school in Virginia. Got put in an asylum and a homeless shelter for grieving. And now here I am. Playing guitar. Listening to this. Commenting on someone else’s comment because I relate. All in 4 months. Birthday is next month and I cancelled everything I had for it cuz there’s no one anymore to celebrate it with. There’s not even anything to celebrate. Just another year. All those dreams of going to California with my friend. Being a musician. Abandoning all the stuff that made me feel worse. Gone. Anyways. Yeah. I come back too late too man. I do to.
