If you want to join a sorority, do it! ☺️❤️ Some sororities have more diversity than others,but that doesn’t mean you can’t join one! Race/Nationality shouldn’t matter! Best of luck! ❤️☺️

Gabriela Isabella there are latinas in my chapter and I know latinas in other chapters as well at uconn :) we have many girls from mixed backgrounds but that’s something that you can definitely ask about during the recruitment process!

That being said, uconn is predominately white and so is uconn greek life, but whatever school you end up at you should give recruitment a shot and see if they actually celebrate diversity in their panhellenic and in their individual organizations!

@@MG-gu7fu it really is!! There are definitely groups of friends in the house who are closer with each other but I can confidently say that I could walk up to anyone's room on a sunday morning and just hang out and chitchat with anyone in the house :)

I mean you don’t need a professional decorator, but I always think it’s dorms it would change so much if you change the floor tile (or whatever it’s called) and the wood color, instead of this brown either white or black furniture, can’t be that expensive. But very cute room 🥰

Cynthya L we go through a recruitment process but honestly it couldnt be further from the movies, our recruitment process is way more relaxed than it is at some other schools but I’ll definitely make a video on it soon!

Life is about much more than work, it’s about giving back to the community around us, having a strong support system, and developing relationships with people that make life enjoyable. Plus, this “little club” has actually improved my GPA so much, because all of my friends in my sorority are very academically driven and we help each other study

International students can definitely join! And I think you meant does it cost anything- we do have to pay dues every semester (i talked about it in my sorority q+a video)

Mariah Francis i know in movies they portray sorority girls as shallow and egotistical, and while this may apply to some girls I think that in many sororities (especially at uconn) you find a huge mix of girls with different personalities, interests, and backgrounds. A sorority is basically a social organization that will support you in academics, friendships, and making bonds and we also partake in “philanthropy” activities where we do volunteer work and raise money for certain charities

For huskython, there are children who come from the hospital to visit the event and have a super fun night, and each "miracle child" gets assigned to a huskython team for the duration of the event!
