Edit: unbeknownst to me, everything I said below was old information/wrong. See other comments. Anton wrote most of the guitar parts and basic song structures for the new album before he officially left in 2016. They said he will still contribute to future albums but is focusing on his family and not touring.

Mikael actually wrote the whole album. Anton and Mikael had written an album but Mikael scrapped it after Anton left so what your hearing is actually all Mikael. He clarified this on FB last night on Justin McKinney's page.

This is one of the most definitive underrated as crap bands out there!

These guys are the fucking kings of writing crazy all over the place riffs that still are hooky and groovy as fuck.

The book was opened...and heaviness thusly ensued. Bangest thou heads, mosheth in thine pit and.....oh fuck it, destroy shit cuz this is the soundtrack to do so.

I love the groove riffs they impliment

New soreption is bad ass. Old soreption is bad ass. No matter what line up they are top notch

This is the only band that's come close to old school Decapitated, you're right. The slicing riffs, only other band on that level is Necrophagist in my opinion.

Yes this is Decapitated if they still played Tech-Death. Anyone else feels like the production is a bit too thin? It always was but it used to be Raw. I wish they make it heavier on future material

This is exactly how i feel with your Decapitated comment. After The Negation they stopped being really technical/brutal. Soreption picked up where they left off. Deserve a lot more spotlight.
