I love the sorare scoring matrix, especially stuff like clearances off the line, last man tackle, etc. Much better than fpl in my opinion.

The scoring matrix is so on depth and captures how well a player has really played over the eye test of the player. Main starting problem which helped me mostly was making mistakes when buying players who don’t score well but I thought played well on an eye test and not thinking percentage boosts on players were important. Finding out things the hard way still to this day

I'm playing sorare for the last month and now I can realize what is a Double Double and a Triple Double. Thanks a lot! For those who are starting now in this Sorare world try to find cheap cards with good all arounds in leagues like Austrian, Croatian and 2nd divisions around top5 leagues, for example. That's the best way to get rewards if you don't have too much money to spend but you still want to compete for threesholds or even u23 modes. If you have a good amount of money to spend, try to find a club that fits your balance and stack (buy 5/6 cards from that club) so you will be full aware of what is happening. For me Sporting CP will be my choise, but you can choose whatever you want. EX: Adán, Inácio, Coates, Pedro Gonçalves & Gyokeres, they all normally perform pretty well and the backline is normally good on clean sheets.

I personally just started Sorare a couple of months ago, so im still very much in the early days of knowing what im doing myself. But for me the biggest thing was simply understanding the difference that a high All around score can make to the scoring matrix and any chance of getting a reward or threshold. I focused so much on how much someone got a decisive that tbh i didnt realise AA was a thing until a few weeks in. For me getting the players that have good imo to start out with 15+ average AA score per game as well as have the ability to get themselves a decisive score is really important to getting them more consistent scores, because even if they dont get a decisive they still sometimes score well enough to get you over a rewards threshold!

As a small gallery that has never put any money in, i find it really important to find consistent players. I find that picking players that are not afraid to put in a challenge generally score better, as it is crazy how many points you can get from tackles and interceptions alone. Try not to buy players just because they score sometimes, AA is important too!

Triple doubles and triple triples are huge on defenders. For beginners - that takes into account tackles, interceptions and net duels won. If you have time you should look through defender stats for those who are getting close to these triples. For example if you see 2 tackles won, 3 net duels won and 1 interception, that's a defender that does well in all areas of defending and just one more interception would have been a triple double. If a player is quite often 1 action short, it's not inconceivable that he'll wrack up some triples very soon.

I think the scoring matrix is quite good and possibly the best it can get. For myself I found that it's important to have AA players especially defenders because even if that players doesn't hit a decisive or that clean sheet your lineup isn't necessarily dead.

Gotta be honest I am very happy you made this video, because i joined the game recently and didn't understand the difference on decisive scores and aa scores. I especially think it's is important on your goalkeepers. You need to have a goalkeeper with a good deffence to get that clean sheet. But also just like how it's important to look for teams having a lot of passes and all that stuff is important.

Amazing video, summons up pretty much everything about scoring. What I would say to the new users that love data and want to go in depth on these is the interceptions and tackles are only awarded when the player that did the tackle/interception keeps the ball. This could be quite confusing when you are watching your player or some statistics sites reward tackles/interceptions differently but on sorare the defender has to have the ball in possession after the tackle for it to be considered "won".

Sorare scoring is so much better than standard fantasy scoring, AA scores are more aligned with real football. I think it’s important to understand how scores are made up in terms of Decisive and AA. I went in blind and didn’t understand the decisive scoring especially, so worth looking at why players get a 60 or a 70 and what actually gets players a decisive action. Also are players you’re buying solely decisive dependant or are they putting up good AA too. This scoring system is a million times better than any fantasy football scoring out there.

The best tip i think i can give to new Sorare managers who have just started their journey or are planning to start sorare is dont go by a gameweek to gameweek basis when buying cards, you may be tempted to buy cards based on their previous week score or the upcoming fixtures but some players you may buy will have a one game next week but then may have no game for the next few weeks which will impact on pricing if you are on a budget, be calculated in your decisions. I first bought players which were cheap and i thought that i would be able to win cards just because i bought some but this is not the case, go for the players you enjoy in real life or that you know are able to play domestically and internationally and you wont fall into the trap like i did.

Great video, I still struggle to remember the double/triples! On top of this if you're scouting, and able to, i'd always recommend trying to watch some games of the player you're interested in, you can see if they switch off, or if they're a workhorse, to back up the data you see in the players AA. The matrix is great, but seeing a player actually have a strong positive impact on a game is a great bit of research, and reassurance that you're making smart choices.

Make sure you keep an eye out for positions a guy that had a defender card and a midfielder card they will be scored completely differently. If they keep a clean sheet for example the defender card gets another 10 points. also have been stung looking for forward and accidentally bought a midfielder card.

My tip would be, although the eye test is very useful to choosing your players but it isn't everything. Some of the 'useful' things some players do on the pitch aren't scored like off the ball movement andcovering spaces. So stats has to be the main point you pick your players upon.

Hi Quinny! I find the video so insightful because we have to evaluate the deeper statistics of the players and not only if they score or save a goal. It also made me think that is all about the stats and it's also a negative part, because every save has the same value.

AA scores and card bonuses are huge, sometimes the diff between me getting a reward or not is a single point!!!! so playing an AA monster like a CM can sometimes be the difference u needed in a difficult fixture. so go for players with high pass success rate in midfield and defence. but if it is an easy fixture u can gamble on ur forwards as well! PS collection bonuses are huge as well! Good luck everyone!

I think it’s really important to delve in to what makes up All Around scores, rather than just filtering for a certain amount on Sorare Data. A great example is Guehi and Andersen - Palace tend to pass around the back a LOT, and hence they both rack up AA from completed passes. This is a play style rather than a defender being good at defending and so it’s likely to keep occurring every week!

Great video Quinny, short video but everything in it. For me a foul bta defender is way too big points you lost and you get nothing if he gets fouled. Also duels won/lost for a defender and even a mid. aren't the right comparison. You should get an equal score for that for a mid. And maybe for a second decisive in stead of 10 ->15 points would not be bad.

Use your amateur draft as a fun game to get started and familiar with the game but then once limiteds are bought have a common gk that you trust and use that in cap220 to save you buying a gk, for the scoring if you have a gk that you trust and gets clean sheets maybe also buy one of the teams defender so you double up on clean sheet points, i would also try and be different with your common draft as its extremely difficult to do well in with players such as haaland, as 25k other people will have that haaland also.

Id also advise a team that maybe have European fixtures as the utility you get out of them is fantastic, i own a selection of villa players myself as i think they could potentially win the europa conference so will have upwards of 50 games to play and get usage out of, a clean sheet week for villa with a goal and assist from mid and forwards can win some great rewards for you.
