Once I got auto-filled top so I played AP Soraka against Aatrox. I built Liandry's and kicked his ass so hard he left the game. I've always considered playing her in the top lane again, but tbh I really just prefer healing people 😂

If you want even more damage, Horizon Focus is a good way to increase low-scaling abilities. Q always triggers it and E at long range is ground-targeted so it also will trigger it at range

Magic pen too good though sadly. The magic pen of Shadowflame outscales the 10% damage increase from horizon when horizon would only add 33 extra dmg to Q that'll get reduced by their MR.

They break even if, after other pen and MR reductions, the target has 10 MR (10 pen = 10% boost) to 50 MR (20 pen = 10% boost). When he buys it, he has 29 pen from items (6 Luden's + 18 sorc shoes +5 legendary) and the enemies have between 40 (lux, samira) and 57 (talon) base MR. So HF is the same for the ranged and either better or worse for the melee champs depending on if they get shields or have low HP. (Not to mention the CDR on HF)
