It's sooooooo good. But you have to go into with a different perspective. Where Breaking Bad is mostly plot driven (with excellent characters) and The Wire is a 50/50 between characters and plot, The Sopranos is like 99% characters. Meaning that while there is a "plot" it's more like a documentary. You're basically watching very realistic characters handle their day-to-day lives within the Mafia. I HIGHLY recommend a recently uploaded video looking into James' performance as Tony Soprano in a single scene. Just type in Tony Soprano acting and you should find it. That's a perfect look into what the show is about and how good the performances are. But halfway through there's a spoiler of a character getting whacked so might want to avoid the middle area.

a true Criterion classic.

The thumbnail for this video made me laugh for nearly 10 minutes
