    1:27 A lot of people will never get parts because of the way they look, even if they would probably do a great job. Discrimination is a common thing in theatre, film and tv, a lot of people are excluded, and not just based on the colour of their skin.

    Of course but I Imagine it was a lot more to do with Ethnicity during Sophie’s younger years.

    I guess I'm 1st 😳 Funny how your views of theatre are the polar reverse of mine 😆 interesting though how common it is feeling the need to be nothing less than excellent! I have found theatre highly inaccessible and classist with generous lashings of nepotism. In other words it's just as bad as the British Film and TV landscape, especially when you're not the TALENT.
