One of the most timeless and classic scenes involving trains is seeing a steam locomotive racing away through a snowstorm. Thankfully while in Wisconsin for Trains Magazine's Soo Line 1003 charter, we were in just the right place at the right time to witness the 1003 dashing through a heavy snow squall in the hills outside of Hartford, Wisconsin en route to Horicon, Wisconsin.
