Excellent! Just started using it and so far I like. A video on DAS and shutter speed would be great ( high shutter speed to get rid of the funny digital stabe artifacts)

for slog3, couldn't you just use the log shooting mode? or is there a difference between setting slog3 in picture profiles vs log shooting mode?

If I’m not mistaken then I think you need a v90. At least for the highest bit rate of footage

Gamma display? Is there a reason why you don't use the built in S709 lut? Also you are saying that you need to color grade slog3. Premiere does it automatically for me during import. It might be because I installed the sony premiere pro plugin on my computer. I'm not sure how it works though if I overexpose in camera to not get grainy shadows. It might mess upp both the s709 preview and and the import auto color grading.

I’m thinking of switching my videos up to 50/60fps as stabilisation works much better, particularly on pans.

I'm looking to document my hikes, nothing professional for KZread just for memory purposes. But I want a proper camera, already got the drone locked in. Any recommendations?

Thank you so much! This was recorded with the Sony A74 ☺️ hmmm maybe the zv1 m2? It’s small light weight, can take photos and videos. Isn’t as expensive as some other bigger cameras and it’s perfect for documenting

Nice Video! For SLOG3 the ISO is 640 or 12800? What is the ISO value for S-Cinteone - i.e. the two basic ISO values?

What card do i need to get to record in 10 bit

Note that if transferring video files in the files app on iPhone in XAVC-S 4K that videos cannot play at this time.

I prefer X-AVC HS which is H.265 and is a better and more advanced codec. The speed stays the same. The exact same. ^^

Why would you show a Type A card when mentioning needing a faster card when this camera doesn’t take one?
