You forgot the greatest ZV-E1 accessory of all time to make yr films more cinematic: Canon Color Science Conversion LUT oh my gah

I've also used the ZV-E1 as my primary KZread camera since its release, and it has never overheated on me in real-world recording situations. I love this camera. It's very compact, yet produces fantastic image quality. And, I also use that SmallRig grip cage. It massively improves the ergonomics on the ZV-E1. Thanks for the gear recommendations Vu. Love your honesty!

Just Recieved my zve1 yesterday, this is the perfect video! I already got friends saying why I did not get the fx30 instead. I trust you, I have 3 outdoor weddings this month and we'll see how it holds up!

Glad to see you back. I just received my Fuji X-S20. If I wasn’t broke after buying the 150-600 I am now…. I plan to flex my open gate sensor soon. 16:9 is so 2021… vacation starts on Monday so I can waste a lot of time

Please let us know how you get on with it. I just took mine on vacation last week and the IBIS wobble is pretty distracting. The autofocus also is still far from perfect in video, still no tap to track, still pulses randomly for no apparent reason. I just sent it back for a refund and ordered a ZV-E1. I will miss the 6.2k open gate, that was incredible, that's 20 megapixels vs 8 megapixels on 4k. You can crop for vertical or punch in 50% with no quality loss, incredible! - But if the footage is wobbly and out of focus, no amount of resolution can fix that :( It does feel lacklustre compared to looking at the Sony reviews with their rock solid AF, tap to track in video, no crop in 4k60, 4k120, much lower base ISOs in SLOG3 video, focus breathing correction, AI reframing, little things like the photo/video/S&Q dial, weather breathing on the A6700 (though sadly lacking on the ZV-E1). Sure there's no 6.2k but there's clear zoom which lets you zoom into the 4K video 50% with no quality loss, that's pretty cool and effectively turns your prime into a zoom.

@@DigiDriftZone when it comes to photography Fuji inspires me more than the other brands. I can tell you Fuji isn’t the best for walking around video. It’s good for handheld static shots. I think the autofocus is much better than past cameras. Which lenses you use matter. I need to shoot more video outside to really test it. I hope they add touch tracking soon. Enjoy the new camera

@@dccoletrain Everyone's been asking for touch tracking since 2018 so I wouldn't hold my breath :( - it was expected in the H-S2s but still nothing. Just out to interest, if you mostly care about photos, why did you go for the X-S20 over the X-T5? - I got the X-S20 because I was hoping it would make a good hybrid travel camera, but I got this (IBIS only, it's worse with digital or boost): kzread.info/dash/bejne/i4xr17uphpDYfcY.html I use the 13mm Viltrox 1.4, the Fuji 18-55 f2-4, Fuji 35mm F2, Fuji 50-230, Viltrox 23mm and a few others - that's another frustrating thing, in photos they are all perfect, but in video it can be a bit picky and you need to update lens firmwares - seems this isn't an issue with Sony. I agree about photography so I am keeping my X-S10 which takes identical photos to the X-S20 pretty much, I love that camera. The ZV-E1 is a terrible photography camera, I wouldn't have ordered one if I didn't plan on keeping the X-S10 :)

Not directly, but tilta has a cage that you attach their fan to it that helps out a lot.

LOL! I’ve seen no one say the S5IIX is an Alexa! True I own one and love it. I would never buy a ZV-E1 since I’ve already worked with one that failed for overheating on every shoot we had. It wasn’t mine, but it certainly slowed us down. It even overheated and it wasn’t even recording during one setting. This guy all he does is cry over anything anyone says about LUMIX. It’s getting amusing.

Was the zv-e1 on high temp threshold setting? I find it hard to believe it has been overheating since I've literally beaten the crap out of it has not overheated at all. Also... @@nVuFilms i'm subscribed to you since you were 3k and now you bought this garbage camera , this is a rip off, sony a6700 will do better than this sh*t....and choosing this camera tells me you post only for affiliate links...absolutely no-one knows the difference between 8 bit or 10 bit on youtube ... everything is 8 bit on youtube, and this camera has huge crop in all those gimmicky AI bs , and no vlogger that is advertise for would buy this, go home and edit the files...only one thing is great about it: upload luts in it...that's all
