Hi, Saw your videos and I really impressed with that. So I didn't stop myself asking few help from you. I need to do the setup at my home and for that I need your help in making good setup using below speakers with some constraints I have 1. Sony XS-XB6941 x 2 2. Sony XS-NW1202S Subwoofer x 1 This I need to do the setup at my home using only one amplifier. The input will come from my TataSky setup box. My constraints are 1. I don't want to use any power supplier like SMPS or Corsair VS550 550 Watt Power supply 2. I don't want to use any car amplifier or mono amplifier or something of that kind. I just wanted to avoid all the messy wires and multiple devices to that setup. Please suggest how to do the setup and also suggest some amplifier which will solve my purpose to setup using above speakers Thanks

I doubt it, these are meant to be installed in the rear parcel tray.

Hello bhai...i just started learning all this. So now the speaker power is 90w and the Head unit's output is 55w, do we need to use the amp in this case to make the speaker work?

Hey bro, you don't need an amp, they will work just fine with the head unit, but you won't get much bass, just mids and high, its adequate for small speakers but not for big speakers like these, that is because that 55W rating on the head unit is peak power rating, not RMS, the rating on the speakers is in RMS, so the head unit is just about 20watts RMS at the most all channels combined. @@amansharma434 its underwpowered , u will have plain voice output at 100%(if no bass involved) bt if der is bass it will be like 20-30% . here u need to have atleast 250w rms amp for 2speakers alone da extra o/p will give headroom for better sound

To be very honest, you will be better off buying a JBL Party box. I have just finished dismantling this system and bought a JBL 710, sound quality is better than what you would get with a system like this.

No, these are meant for the rear parcel shelf.

U need to give that headunit 14.4v computer psu output is typically lower than 12v and that will reduce the output power by a lot. It will start distorting at low volumes without enough voltage. Get a 20amp cctv 12v powersupply and set it to as high as it can go (but below 15v).

Thanks but I will pass since my system has been working fine for more than 3 years with 2x amps, with no distortions even at high volume, Corsair 650 watt PC power supply is infinitely better at higher load than ANY CCTV psu.

Nice one bro those speakers are not that expensive compare to well known brand, but sounds pretty descent plus u are using Sony High-Res amplifier

Thanks, bro and yeah, definitely not the best by any means although they sound quite nice. These are a good upgrade if you are looking to add decent speakers to rear shelf of your car without spending too much :D Those JBL speakers have more 'resolution' to the sound even though they are physically smaller and the enclosure isn't that big. 😊
