The XM4s may have more bass, but the XM5 bass is more clear and has alot more texture to it, to my ears it's a much more enjoyable Listen experience. Enjoy!

@@levil4012 idk what you mean by "took out". No, the XM5s are bassy and anyone who keeps saying that they aren't have to have their brain fried. It'll rattle your head on sufficient volume so I don't think that should be a concern.

@@levil4012 Bowers and Wilkins will probably sound better but if you want more bass, Sony's house sound is always a warm bass focused signature.

@@jephtawallace2135 you got it. It basically becomes your own manual profile by starting off with the bright profile and then customizing with with the + _ clear bass. That will save it for you for sure. Also don't forget to turn LDAC manually to 990Kbps which gets you a bandwidth that is about 90% of wired bandwidth which gives you a bit more separated imaging and soundstage. It makes the XM5's basically perfect for a Bluetooth headphones

Sadly LDAC is not available in iPhones, if you'd pair this with an iPhone, it'd play with the AAC Codec (Thankfully i switched back to Android from an iPhone 😌)

This was a great unboxing and review! I tried these headphones for a week, but ended up having to go back to the Bose NC 700 because I could hear my own breathing and stuff with the XM5s, which I don't hear with the NC 700s. Your review has me itching to try them again...

Hi Kita, I know this is not an equal comparison, but I do realize you also had Logitech G733 on the background which I also want so bad. I’m having a difficult time deciding to get G733 or more expensive one like Bose or Sony XM4/5. It’s just G733 have a cool design and RGB light on it but I doubt it sounded as good as other headphones for music listening. I do play games but I also love kicking bass when listening to music. Since I only can afford one, can you pls enlight me? Need your opinion so bad 😆🥹🙏🏼 thank you Kita Zoe

Hi Pamela! For sure, so if you’re looking for something for gaming and that’s wireless I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the XM4/5 just because of the Bluetooth latency for the games (unless you plug them in but then you loose the wireless aspect). The Logitechs are awesome for gaming because they’re wireless, have that RGB aspect which is awesome, and they are comfy/light and have great battery life BUT the sound quality is nothing compared to the XM5. But if you’re looking more for sound quality and not really for gaming then the Sonys all the way! On another note if you’re looking for something with gaming AND sound quality i would take a look at steelseries higher end headphones and even logitechs, you may pay a little more than the 733s but you get the best of both worlds :)

@@PamelaSakina From the quick search I did, the Arctis Pro and the Arctis Nova pro come up for good gaming and sound quality (these have a lot of cool features but I would take a look at some videos if youre interested :) Another headset I would take a look at is Beyerdynamics DT 880, these are AWESOME and super comfortable (lightest headphones youll ever wear and theyre not too bad on the wallet compared to others ahah)

i just got these as my bose qc 35 died on me. really like them. only thing i dislike is that no water resistance whatsoever. not even for sweat. but otherwise i love them so much, they sound amazing. also oh so comfortable

Yes! I noticed this as well, so things like the gym and rain have to be avoided unfortunately

Hi. Are those pads removible? Because I prefer a cloth material instead leather. Leather wears out fast.

to answer 2 of the 3 questions. IMO, they are super comfortable and light, but if you're looking to do any sort of movement, I don't really recommend them. They feel really light to the point that they feel like they're going to fly off at any point. They do have this rubber on the band that is fairly sticky on the head, but it isnt enough if youre constantly moving your head. and the cord length is around 1.2m according to the box :)

You did great research beforehand! You could be a tech KZreadr!! Have you also thought about the AirPods max or Bose nc700s before you got these?

Thank you so much! have a couple of tech videos coming up fingers crossed :) and yess I did! the Sonys were lighter than the Airpods max and when tested the sonys had 10 more hours of battery life compared to the Bose BUT they were both something I considered along with the sony XM4s

@@kitazoe great choice :D i like the mellow and deeper tones of the xm5s compared to the AirPods most of the time, and the little things like the feedback tones you get from navigating media and noise canceling modes are so much better on the the xm5s compared to the robotic voice responses on the Bose or the older xm4s

I definitely thought about the ease it would be with the whole ecosystem staying within apple but depending on the specs of the next iPhone being released...I might be switching over to Samsung 😅 But I do have to say the connection is seamless with the XM5s and you can still access Siri which is a plus!

White. Maybe not literally but there are only 2 colors that I know of.

I'm Glad Someone Likes These . I Gave 2 Pairs 2 Chances And Was Very Disappointed Returning Both Pairs . They Look Ultra Cheap But Cost 50 Extra . The Thin Round Padding Hurts The Top Of My Head Which Never Happenes With My XM3 XM4 . They Chose To Copy Bose 700 Adjustment System But Did Not Do It As Good As Bose . The ANC Is The Only Good Thing About XM5 . The Looks Are Subpar Especially Compared To The XM3 XM4 . The Sound Is Not As Good As SoundCore Life Q35 And SoundCore Space Q45 . THE XM5s Look Like Sony Desided Not To Try At All To Make A Cool Attractive Looking Set Of Cans . Sony Should Of Kept The XM4 Look And The Click Adjustment System And Fit Profile . Like I Said B4 The XM5 ANC Is On Another Level But That's Its Only Redeeming Quality .

The Sony XM5 Are Ultra Disappointing Accept For The GOD TIER ANC . Get The SoundCore Space Q45 I Really Enjoy It And Think You Will Too . I Listened To My Space Q45 Wired Passively Powered Off With No Issue At All As Soon As I Got Them And The Sound Is Amazing Wired Powered Off . . . . . SoundCore Space Q45 My Take For Wired Passive Listening I'm Using ZFold3 To Hidizs S9 Pro DAC AMP DONGLE To Space Q45 And WOW AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied . The Q45 ANC is really good SoundCores best yet Right Up There With My XM3s . The Space Q45 sound while punchy is not as punchy as the Soundcore Life Q35 In The Bass Department . The Bass Up Feature can't currently be used with Custom EQs So it's Pointless for my Uses Because I Use My Own In App Custom EQs . We Can Listen To These Wired Passively (Powered Off) And The Q45s Sound Absolutely Amazing This Way . The LDAC Sounds Really Good And Gives Wired Listening A Run For It's Money . We Lose Some Features Of The Life Q35 With The Space Q45 . Hopefully A Firmware Update(s) Will Give These Lost Functions To The Q45 . The Q45s Are Heavier With Much Less Cushioning On The Top Where As The Q35 Are Lighter With More Cushioning On Top So Comfort Goes To Q35 .
