@@alanrossreviews actually, I'm seeing complaints for the Denon with white noise, connector placement (aux in putting pressure on the socket) and loud beeps at power on and off. Plus a couple of other things, as well as the issues with buttons and volume. any thoughts? I was looking to purchase 1 today, then maybe another, but these issues have put me off. I have emailed denon. I think there is a 200 model, maybe not with the same issues? I see you review mattresses. I was looking at mattress reviews, we just bought 2. Wish your reviews had come up. Hi ALan, have you experienced this issue with the DSB 250? I was told that if you have the speaker set under 100% volume that when you try to adjust the volume with your phone the speaker still thinks it's at 100% and therefore doesn't respond to the phone volume setting correctly. Oluv mentioned this in his review and if so is there an update?

I had the charge 3 before and the charge 4 blows it away in every regard other than being in mono. Comparing the Denon and the JBL is pretty neck and neck in my opinion. The Denon sounds smoother and has amazing stereo imaging but the Charge 4 sounds much richer and fuller. I am testing with Rock, Metal and jazz thought. I don't listen to electronic music. If you listen to rock or metal I think the JBL is the better speaker because the battery drain on the Denon is pretty bad.

the sony xb32 has a strange sound for sure but its base is superior to charge 4 and denon to my ears and measurements. The denon bass has a different quality to it though that i like, a resonant rumbling kind of nature.
