@@JDRos I've been using these buds every day for work since they came out for 12h shifts in a factory where it get 80 degrees in winter and up to 120 in the summer, haven't had one issue, also, they never get loose or have ever fallen out, so maybe people just don't know how to wear them

@@Squishy_avocado I don't drip sweat if that's what you mean, I do sweat mildly, but so far they still work perfectly, they don't give ear pressure once inserted, but they do tend to give ear fatigue after about 3 to 4 hours, and the first few days for me gave me serious pain, which I believe has to do with being my first time whering earbuds, but after a few days they've never given me any pain since, also depending on your ear shape and which tip u use they won't come out no matter what u do

Very well done sir! I've seen reviews that were twice as long and not nearly as comprehensive as yours. No other reviewer has talked about the flashing LEDs or the auto power off feature. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Wow. How refreshing! A reviewer that actually sounds honest and unbiased! Perfect amount of tech discussion with stylish appeal thrown in as well. I just ordered a pair. I own a gym pair, the JBL Tune 120WS as a knock around pair. My Samsung Galaxy Buds +plus for average everyday listening. Now I will add the recently heavily discounted Sony WF-1000XM3 for that noise canceling appeal with great tonality including deep yet real bass. At 6:45 you mentioned "Quick Attention Mode", its actually "Quick Attenuation Mode" which allows for lower volume with the same sound quality. Great job and thank you for keeping it real!

Very informative and practical review. I also feel that the earbuds could be more secure in the ear, but the twisting into the ear really helps. FYI, one of the buds fell out of my ear and into the toilet. Miraculously, it still worked after immediately pulling it. out Yuck but wow!

Great review primo . You should do a top 5 on wireless earbuds

Been using it for few weeks now. Here is what I can say: 1 - Sound quality is amazing. 2 - Noise cancelling is great. It is not total isolation, but you can comfortably listen to music or podcast on a train or bus. 3 - They feel bulky at first, specially if you are upgrading from a smaller model. They even wiggle a bit if you move your head or simply walk, although they rarely falls off, even when cycling. Sony knew this and does a good job on the ear tip offering. You are very likely to find a fit. 4 - Now, I was expecting way more in terms of call quality. I bought these to join calls at work. I place a big bet on noise cancelling, but it did not work as I expected. People will hear me decently until they start hearing me robotically.

Re. call quality this is the same for me. People reported that short answers are perfectly fine, while longer sentences can cut off and I have also heard about the robotical voice.

Felix Derkum try disabling noise canceling. It got considerably better for me, not perfect tho. I’m still disappointed.

I agree. When I'm listening to my music with these on when I'm on the train.....the sound is so good that I hate to take them off when I get off the train to get in my car.

What about the quality of the bass? And is it comfortable in ears?

Best and most practical review so far on these excellent Sony earbuds. Thanks for discussing the issue with facial muscles contributing to the EarPods loosening out of your ears. I purchased larger ear tips on Amazon which has helped a bit but I was not aware of the impact of facial muscle flex from smiling etc on the earbuds loosening.

Only had them a week and tried all sizes of buds but still could not stop them falling out of my ears when moving around so had to return them. Shame as I loved everything else about them tbh

I just got mine and noticed how the facial muscles affect the fit. Not a big deal, but it’s slightly there.

Handy feature

Excellent reviewer and review!!! :) I have these (silver/beige) and I'm completely happy with my choice because of the quality and features. Did a lot of research on the specs, etc. before buying as they are a bit expensive, but they've come down some since introduction, still around the $200 mark tho'. Really love the sound quality and that's what I was after. As usual, Apple doesn't make it as seamless to connect as Android does, but I knew that ahead of time. Once I got my iMac to pair and in the list of BlueTooth devices all I need to do is double click on the headphones and it's good. For the iPhone, either connect thru BlueTooth in Settings or once they've been recognized, setting the buds close to the iPhone seems to connect them fairly seamlessly and opens the app so the slight 'fiddling' is worth it for having these really good Sony earbuds.

I like the design and the "light tanned" color actually

@@renatinhodelperu not as much, I did get a galaxy bud 2 with my z fold 3 pre order, which is not bad but not as good as Sony for sure in terms of sound and noise cancelation. I will keep the sony for travel I guess. But it's still going strong.

I just got mine. Indeed, the absolute best sound I've ever heard considering this type of headphones. You really need to try all the ear tips to find the most suitable... And got them at a GREAT SPECIAL PRICE from Sony Argentina - I just paid USD 107 (including shipping!). I can't complain. More than happy :)

I regret it, sound quality worse then xiaomi 1/5 cheaper anc wired earphone, even the anc on xiaomi is better. Tested on airplane

glad you mentioned the ear muscles being activated during eating etc... this is literally the problem I have with most in ear headsets. That’s why I prefer the Powerbeats... I typically don’t have this problem.

They just released a firmware update. Before you could only use the Google Assistant, now it can use Amazon Alexa AND you have an option to CONTROL THE VOLUME! I love it!

How long should you charge them for and will the holder shut off when charged or will it change colour.

Quick question. I have the equivalent Sony over the ear headphones and have them synced to the Sony headphone app. If I get these will I easily be able to switch between them in the app depending on which one I decide to use for the day?

Oh the foam ones for me definitely, the silicone ones just feel like i have bubble gum or something stuck in my ears, especially in prolonged use sessions, with the foam ones i sometimes forget i even have earbuds in.

How do i change Bluetooth codec with those? Mine is stuck on SBC, no matter what i do (developer options, etc...)

Can I please ask, could these be used perhaps with a Bluetooth directional microphone for someone who struggles to hear in situations like a noisy restaurant, when you can't hear someone directly opposite talking to you. I don't think conventional hearing aids are any help in such situations. I'm sure there's a market for a dedicated hearing device that meets that need and is capable of cutting out a lot of the background noise. I'm very tempted to get a pair of these and experiment. Would obviously also be great for listening to music:) Excellent video, really professionally put together and very informative.

Need advice. I have a galaxy S10 5G. I currently own the galaxy buds and bose SoundSport. I do want noise cancelling buds. I'm looking at these at the monent. I'm on the fence between these and the airpods pro. What do you recommend? I have seen some people say that these have sub par cal quality. The galaxy buds have horrible call quality. The Bose SoundSport are great for sound but I hate how bulky they are. Can you let me know how sound quality is on the Sony XF1000? Do you recommend the air pods pro over these?

Hey bro, does this color get dirty over a your time using it? Like is it slightly blackish ?

Can you charge the [empty] case while using the earbuds? Is it me or do these earbuds reduce the overall volume as opposed to using their counterpart over-the-ear headphones? I own both. At the 50% volume level on my earbuds, the sound is almost non existent. The app helps a tiny bit but not enough to make a real difference.

all of sudden i have no sound in the right bud, tried the factory reset with no luck, i do hear sound when i tap on the bud with finger though ?

All of my devices are Apple and I don't notice any delay at all. So happy with these versus my old AirPods.

Hi. My Sony Earpods WF 1000XM3 arrived today. The only issue I'm having is getting them to fit in my ears properly. Everything else I'm happy with. Any advice would be more than grateful, please.

If they were just plain white I would've gone for them, but honestly the brownish accents make it look like a hearing aid to me, I'll go for the black ones.

I have the grey version and have used these in the gym for long sessions - weights treadmill, floor exercises and they are secure and work fine - excellent sound, ANC and versus the Sony SP700N great battery life. The correct choice of ear buds is critical for fit and sound quality - too small and the bass sound is not so good too large and you can hear your own footsteps and any other noise when you move . My only issue is the lack of track and volume change controls on the buds. Latency on KZread and other videos is almost nil

I just got these earbuds and use them with my Samsung Note10+. They sound great but very often I get small breaks/cuts in the sound. It seems to go away when I turn off the phones WiFi (after reading the trouble shooting Sony website). I find that a bit of a crap solution though, since I need my WiFi on for general phone use when I'm at home or at the office... Does anyone have a solution to this issue by chance?

I picked mine up yesterday. Sometimes when I tap the left bud I hear the beep but I don't hear any visible changes or get the voice confirmation. Is this a thing happening with other people?
