Or JBL Flip 7. Based off the tear down it looks like Sony copied JBL with their flip 6 model. But idk

It's called the Field 7 because it's 7x bigger than the Field 1. 6 of Field 1's horizontal and one in the middle vertically makes the Field 7. Bravo Sony, I can't wait to get mine.

So where is the mid sizes ULT replacement for the XG300.

Ult 1 is somewhere between flip 6 and charge 5 more towards flip 6

These SONY ULT bluetooth speakers are outstanding, especially the ULT Field 7, the design really fresh, not boxy and very eye catching. The little brother ULT field 1 is good, but not as great as big brother ULT Field 7 in term of look and design. Not surprising, the SONY ULT Field 7 rapidly got many fan around the world. Not only the design, it got more improvement and impression of sound quality, especially more brighter and the sub bass is more powerful and impactful compared to SONY recent Bluetooth speakers line up. Yeah SONY, this is your coming back, after being slept for so long. This time your motto "No SONY No Party" relate to your ULT speaker and audio equipment line up very well. These are SONY should sound like...... Well done SONY....hope more ULT line up will coming soon.

Can you link the ULT 7 with the field 1? I got ULT 7 and it's amaaaaazing 😮 I wanna link a field 1 and treat it as a tweeter

Too bad most of these KZread guys who test Sony speakers always use Apple devices as the music source, Apple sucks when it comes to audio quality and Sony almost always adds LDAC to their speakers.

Field 1 doesn't have LDAC. Only Sony bigger speakers do.

really? that's disappointing haha the SRS-XB32 I bought like 5 years ago has LDAC. But still even with speakers that fo have LDAC these KZreadrs pretty much never use it, they always use apple devices as a music source

Nothing beats the turtle box audio with 120db pushing 100 watts with a 6x9 speaker. Test that speaker is worth the money

It tries really hard, you can hear the dsp reducing the bass. It is for protecting the driver and the amp from overload.

@@user-be7rv9hv7g your correct but theres exceptions such as soundcore motion boom plus , tribit xsound mega, partybox 110 soundcore boom 2 etc only ones i noticed that goes really tiny sounding is jbl flip series and charge series so not all do that thats why i am asking if it carries most of its bass at higher volumes or not
