Nice to see other options for a smaller bluetooth speaker. Had the Motion 300 from Soundcore and a month ago upgraded to the Tribit XSound Plus 2 which is $70 and impressive as it has everything I need with impressive sound quality, speakerphone, waterproof, over 20 hrs playtime, and aux (many have stopped putting it).

I just got one a few days ago and you’re spot on, anybody saying the Sony sounds better is a LIAR, JBL has better highs and mids and definitely deeper bass. The only better from Sony is the speakerphone.. Great video bro

depends on the use the jbl is clearer as in it has better highs but the sony has better bass i personally prefer having bass on my speakers so i ordered the sony but if someone likes party mode and clearer sound they probably should go with the jbl

It all depends on where you’ll be listening. Sound quality matters more inside than outside. If you’re looking for an outdoor speaker, for the same amount of money, you can get the Boom2. Clarity, volume, & battery life are vital for outdoor performance.

Floss, you need to test those Valco headphones and speaker

honestly it js depends on what u need from a speaker and ofc I assume everyone like myself and flossy wants a loud ass speaker that's easy to carry which is smth JBL never disappoints on.

I bought 2 Ult 1s ,and it sounds way better if use the equalizer in the Sony app

I personally prefer the JBL flip 6 but this ULT field lineup is a step up from Sony’s past portable speakers

I would rather go with the tribit stormbox micro 2 as a travel speaker. Speaker phone option. You can charge another device with it. The sound on it is outstanding. The smaller compact form makes it perfect for travel. Let's not forget, the micro 2 is dust and waterproof.

So many good reviews about tribit micro 2 but I think it looks very ugly to be honest

I could listen to Flossy's voice all day! What a narrative. #whiteshoesfanclub Even though they are trying to get rid of the headphone jack, I'm not a fan of them getting rid of it, could've easily put it in the charging port flap, minor nit pick, but if the JBL Clip can support this for $40-80 surely this is unneccessary cost cutting

Sony Speaker Phone for me. JBL sound is good but, I guess that’s what you lose a little in a Sony in order to get a nice 10/10 speaker phone with a still pretty good speaker 😂

JBL Speakers sound better than most competitors. They have this cool factor. They're aesthetically pleasing than most speakers. I don't get why they lack speaker phone features. I'll pick them over any other speakers except for Bose/B & Os. Some reviewers already dropped videos for Sonos Ace but I need yours to decide. Great video🙌🏼

From my phone speakers the JBL 6 highs are crispier. Which makes those high hats hit cleaner. Say less bro. I do like the look of the Sony better though. Tanks for bringing this to us Floss.

for the price, nothing can beat JBL speakers.

I must say the Sony ULT Field 1 & Bose Soundlink Flex both sound incredible and you can’t go wrong with either but I did go with the JBL Flip 6 due to the price ($80) and the excellent TXEsign bike mount that is custom built for it… Thank you for the great review Flossy and I want to wish you an early 2 Million Subscribers Bro! What was the charge % on the sony? I haven't checked this Sony out. In the past previous Sony models the sound dynamics changed noticeably when the power dropped below 70%.

I purchased both the JBL Flip 6 and ULT Field 1 to compare the sound. Here’s my verdict: Both speakers sound very similar. I wouldn’t say one is a clear winner over the other. I think the JBL outputs slightly more bass with EQ on max compared to the Field 1 with ULT mode on, but it’s very close. However, I enjoy the midrange on the Sony more. Guitars and vocals sound a bit more “forward” compared to the Flip 6. Highs are very similar, can’t hear much difference. Volume is also comparable. Both speakers do a fine job filling a small room. I will probably keep both and give the JBL to my sister.
