I think you should start a series called "Quick Take:" or something similar. That way you feel free to make the quicker videos different, and the viewers know when they click on a video without that title, they're still going to get the extreme detail 100% of the time. Both preserves the brand and gives you freedom.

I really appreciate how fast he get down to business. 5-second hook, 4-second theme song, 4 second non-sequitur, and then straight onto the topic. Just long enough to get my attention and to adjust my thinking mode for Gerald Undone absorption. He does not waste my time. It's respect for the audience.

It really needs a side by side comparison to 40mm. I am not convinced the 35mm F1.8 is sharper by any means. He might be coming at from using it more as a video lens than a photo lens. Sure the F1.8 is faster, but it is not very sharp for its first two stops

I personally love to hear your thoughts regardless of if you have time to a "full review" or not! Even in these shorter(lol at a 15min video being short) videos you offer a great perspective on things! Maybe to help people understand which type of video you are able to do, you could implement a system similar to MKBHD and do a something similar to his "first impressions" videos, which are somewhat understood by the public to be less of a deep dive than his "full review" videos. Just some thoughts! LOVE your content! Can't overstate how much you've taught me!

I have a lot more respect for reviewers and your reviews in particular after watching MKBHDs iPhone hour long review. I understand the pressure of feeling the need to release a video at the lift of the embargo. I think this video and these style of videos have more than enough information and I’d love to see more similar videos in the future! However, I don’t want the pressure from these videos affect the depth of a classic Undone video.

I absolutely love this format. I think that your random thoughts about the equipment are way more useful to an average consumer of such lenses than the very scientific comparisons. I think it’d work out great if you had your precise scripted etc comparisons for pro cinema gear that requires that level of detail and you could make those quick rant videos about consumer/prosumer gear. I love your videos, your style etc and I’d love to see you review things like budget APS-C gear for example.
