The ripping a perfectly good hype sticker. 😭

I keep the stickers, peel them off the foil slowley and stick them back on a plastic cover in the sme place, then put the L.p. (Long Playing Record) cover in.

Was super happy with my Sony bt turntable but started skipping all records suddenly. I am only playing records for 2 weeks. how can solve the issue any ideas before I return it to shop..

If it died within 2 weeks, I would get the shop to sort it out. Maybe they gave you a dud stylus

Any chance you damaged the stylus? Dropped it hard or clunked it against the SIDE of the record? Skated it across the record? A broken stylus will give your symptoms, along with a very poor sound quality. Other reasons - fluff built up on the stylus so is lifting it off the record?! 🙂 Or, the built-in (non-adjustable) tracking force and/or anti-skating has gone faulty, but this is unlikely. If you are CERTAIN it isn't a damaged stylus, then you should return the player as faulty. A broken stylus is unlikely to be covered by the warranty.

What is the black circular plastic piece for? The piece that is not the dust cover attachments.

That's the 'disc centre' for use with 45 singles which have had their centres removed, such as those used in juke-boxes 🙂

I connected it to my jbl speaker but the volume is way too low. Is there a volume button on the record player or something? How do I raise the volume?

@@volcanus0618 vinyl is a strictly analog form of media. What you’re hearing is the needle playing the information from the grooves and what your record player/system does is amplify that information into a loud bit of music. It’s not a problem it’s just how vinyl works.

It’s a record player, not a speaker. If you want to play music from your phone you’d need to connect your phone to a speaker.

@@callumrelph1400 It's just that I tough the entire point of vinyls' is to have an analogical sound source. It's presumably "the best possible sound", but here you take a vinyl and you transmit it trough the worst currently existing format which is Bluetooth that will down sample it from the "holy" analog into something that's sometimes worst than even some mp3s'.

Based on other comments I don't even think Sony are boosting the phono signal to line level. May as well just make a mp3 Bluetooth jukebox with a dummy record player spinning away on top

@@dreamhax2888 Bluetooth is just an option, you can still hook it up to speakers either using its internal pre amp, or using an external amp. It’s clearly not aimed at audiophiles, and a lot of people these days like the freedom of Bluetooth so it makes sense for companies to offer it as an option, especially on entry level units.
