theres a version of ruizu a55 which is 16 gb it cost only 60-80$. does it sound great though?

What about the battery? because if the battery dies, the mp3 dies. I wish there was an mp3 that worked with regular AA batteries.

How good is the FM radio functionality on the Sony?

Where to download the latest firmware? I have no album art.

Do they have lyrics display capability.. ?

I had have a new ZX-707 for about a week and while it sounds great its been so finicky powering on sometime take way more than usual and usual is already a lot but besides that it freezes constantly. Are you having any freezing with the 306?

One oppertunity for Sony is the power button is very small, low and closetoother buttons. Its still faster than a cellpone to power up Infact deleting apps may speed it up some.

Sorry about that, Its strange when I record at night the dove is very quiet but if I record in themorning shes much more voical. I get that having a dove choo choo in the background is not ideal I'll work hard to improve the audio. Feedback Noted.

I really dont use spotify but I dont see why not - works with Tidal. I will try to test in future video.

Can I add an external dac to the Ruizu A55. I bought one on the strength of your previous reviews which are great but I'm struggling to get the unit to detect my hip dac when I connect them together using the USB c. Any ideas buddy ?

It's a ifi hip-dac. When I connect it the sound still comes out the headphone socket on the player. I've not managed to get any dac working. I'm thinking they may be a usb setting I need to change

I absolutely luv the Sony "screensaver" cassette, it's brilliant but woooo the cost (if even available)! How about the MECHEN M30 in comparison to the RUIZU?

My 306 has one extremely annoying bug: skipping forward a track using the exterior button often comes with a huge delay. Sometimes a few seconds before the track actually changes whereby you're already going back for a second press. One of the most annoying things I've come across in a player. Had at least 5 models of previous Sony Walkmans and this has never been a thing, until now.

I just got my sony nw-a306, one big issue I have with the device and NONE of the reviewers mentioned the battery life of the device is sooo bad. I'm not even talking when listening to music. Even when just doing nothing. Basically I have to turn battery saver management, put the screen to 20%, switch off wifi, and switch off locations. I'm only using it to play my stored flacs music collections so I don't need those features or even streaming.

bad battery life is absolute crap, I've had zero problem for two weeks now. If it didn't work for you, maybe you have a faulty model, replace it with the manufacturer. I tested mine on a cable and wirelessly, heavy dsd and flac files ... I'm surprised that it still plays without a charge

isn't that issue known in the older sony android dap? i mean if you really want to play stored flacs why don't you just buy the non android dap? ex. NW-WM1A perhaps? my A55 with MrWalkman firmware take 4-6 days to be dead completely depends on the usage.

None of the above... neither has at least 1TB of internal storage, what are manufacturers doing? What do I need to do with the other 650GB of music I have? At these prices I should be able to plop my library on there and have at least home hifi quality. Rubbish

The battery life of the Ruizu isn't good. Arround 10 hours. If you want to change the Volume on the Ruizu you can change by swiping from Up to down.

Thank you. That’s one of the most important factors to me, and it boggles my mind how often reviewers don’t mention it at all. As soon as I hear 10 hours or less, I don’t need to hear anything else.
