I already had the microphone. I just bought the audio recorder. I tested it and it's not working. Then I found your video and i checked: I didn't have a battery😂. Thank you for the review, tomorrow I buy battery and if it sounds as good as I expect, then it's a very cheap and good solution to have a clear voice for my videos.

I bought the battery. And I recorded it and the result is more than good. I'm very happy. Did you know you can make a good intro on placeit.net website? I'm telling you this because I've had the same intro template as yours for a long time😃. It's not free, but it's pretty cheap. It's worth checking😉

Great video, does the rode video micro work on this too?

"H" on screen in last test is for situation, when mic is far from mouth for example, in "L" mode it will be little better in this situation.

U should change H to L (high to low) H sensitivity is really high. Specially when using Boya by m1 with it.

Thank you for this video. I had purchased the same recorder and attempted to use different lavalier mics but none worked although none of the ones I tried are powered. According to the ICD-PX240's specs the mic jack powers the mic (that is my understanding from the specs). Now that I have seen this vid I went ahead and purchased the boya mic online hoping it will work as it did for you. Thanks

Just quickly, are you saying that non-powered Lav mics don't work on this device? I have three Lav mics that require power from the source to work and was planning on purchasing three of these devices but it would be a huge waste of money to find out the Lavs won't actually pull power from the output on the device

can you use a Boya BY-M1DM Dual Lavalier Microphone on that recorder? :D

Can it use 2 lav mics? What if im doing an interview that I would like to record

I just returned a defective item to Lazada they require the original packaging for returns, so the way you were just ripping off the packaging gave me anxiety 😂 I already have a BOYA lav but it's the model without battery so I guess I need to get this model instead. Thanks!

It has a built in mic as well

NICE ! MODE MP3 ===SHQ 192Kbps (the best) ===HQ 128Kbps ===SP 48Kbps ===LP 8Kbps (very bad)

Can I use this the recorder without the mic and also is it good for podcast?
