oh man, i think i have the same cam. if i remember correctly one thing to get the best possible picture out of it was ensuring PLENTY of light. Full sunlight was always looked the best.

i bought an earlier model about 10 years ago. It finally failed me yesterday when the stop/start button stuck. I went to several stores and could not find this model, because they were sould out. I bought a very inexpensive vivitar for $99. It was terrible. I will return it later today. I purchased this model from amazon for $228 with free same day shipping. I know I will be pleased with it because I was very pleased with the one i purchased earlier.

I bought this camcorder in a pawn shop for around $115 usdll and I love it.

great video! may sound stupid, but is it possible to lower the recording resolution for a more retro feel?
