Sony Catalyst Prepare WARNING - Check this out before you buy

I want to warn all the creators of the videos. Don't waste your money on Sony Catalyst Prepare. Why?
Because the software has a very poor user experience, Sony's payment system is outdated, and the customer service does not understand clear English but answers something strange, even though I have explained and clarified my case many times very clearly.
In addition, customer service often responds with a delay of many weeks, so we cannot talk about customer service in the 2020s. And also, part 2: Not only does the customer service take weeks to respond, but they also close the chat opened by the customer within three days. Fair game; what a big joke the whole #Sony thing is.
In between, a warning about the new Sony Xperia V phone: Look at the videos on KZread: Sony's novelty does not do well in photography, let alone videography, by any measure against Apple's iPhone 14 Pro. You can see it in every genuine comparison.
But what happened with Sony Prepare?
I ordered the software on March 22, 2023, because I got a Sony camera and found it easier to stabilize all files as a group than to do each file individually in Catalyst Browse. The order was continuous and was billed once a month.
The payments did go exactly on time.
But after the next payment at the end of April, the software said there was no valid subscription. I contacted customer service, and after a few weeks, I got an answer, and the software worked. When the same thing happened again in May, I thought, thank you, this is enough. It makes no sense to pay for software that charges like clockwork but doesn't work, despite the payment and claims that there is no valid subscription. In addition, the customer service responds really slowly and talks like hay.
Here's Sony's latest response as an example:
Hi Antti,
Thanks for writing back.
We have checked, you bought the subscription on 22-04-2023, and it is a monthly plan, so it expired on 22-05-2023.
If you still have a follow-up question on this particular incident, please feel free to update it. If you have a completely different question, please create a new incident.
I bought the order on 22-03-2023.
If the person responsible for selling Sony or its software doesn't even know when the customer originally ordered the product and how Sony invoices you monthly for a product that doesn't work, how can anything be handled properly?
So don't go cheap and order Sony Catalyst Prepare software.

    Needless to say, absolutely incredible in the 2020s. Says a lot about Sony as a company and its corporate culture. And nothing good.

    I had the same experience with their customer service. I paid, I could not batch export stabilised clips, I asked for a refund and never got a response.

    I think it's incredible that Sony uses an old-fashioned payment and customer service system. I have been dealing with Sony's professional side for the last time in 2014 and it was a nightmare, at least here in Finland. No one was caught and nothing was done.
