Great long term use information. I think it's great that Sony continues to improve and update the platform. Both with software updates and accessories. I think that people need to remember that this is Sony's first ever drone. An entirely new product for them. There's a learning curve going on here for them too. Especially in terms of adding new features through software updates, and improving weak points. Mark my words......when they eventually release a 2nd drone ....it's going to be even better.
Love this, how would you compare to Inspire 3
great video, i was wondering how you think about this drone since the inspire 3 came out?

Still think the Airpeak is the right tool for me. Especially when it comes to photography, there’s nothing that can really compare to flying a Sony A1 or A7RV for photography. I do think the inspire 3 is a great tool also but I’ll be sticking with the Airpeak for a while. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for watching

Thanks for the sub! Appreciate you!
A FEW NOTES: The cost for my Airpeak is as follows: Sony Airpeak Body: $8,999 Sony Gremsy Gimbal T3 for Airpeak S1 Drone: $2,199.99 4 Sony Flight Batteries for Airpeak S1 Drone: $919.96 Go Professional Cases Travel Hard Case for Sony Airpeak S1 Drone: $975.00 Sony 2-Year Protect Plus Extended Warranty for Airpeak Drones: $1,349.99 Apple 10.2" iPad (9th Gen, 64GB, Wi-Fi Only, Space Gray) $304 Also a note on what I meant about being mad that @geraldundone & @JasonVong didn't make a Airpeak review. I was joking about the fact that I don't buy a Sony product until I see a Gerald review or a review from Jason. I trust what they say and respect them so I was sad to see they didn't have a review out. I would have felt much better if they had done testing then I made the choice. Nothing but respect for them both!

I saw that Sony recently announced new batteries that allow longer flight time now. As well as a new gimbal that's now much lighter and made specifically for the Airpeak. As well as more new software updates. It will be interesting to see you do a follow up review with these updates to the Airpeak platform.

Nice review Lemar quick question with the new A7R5 are there still situations where the A1 still is needed ?

Thanks for checking out the video Steven. I would say yes for sure. In my opinion I think the A1 is the most versatile camera in the Sony line up. I work with a lot of athletes and having the speed of the A1 is something that puts it in a class of it's own. Now I'm not saying that the 10fps on the A7RV cant get the job done but just for a photography stand point of trying to get pictures of an athlete doing something fast the A1 is going to be the winner 9/10. I haven't flown the A7RV yet I need to rent it, but I plan on doing it soon excited to see what the images look like.
Great video. Where is the Sony Airpeak forum you mentioned? Also, would a new person who has not flown drones before be able to fly this one?

Hey Justin this is the link to the group facebook.com/groups/448073136877580/ I would not recommend the Airpeak being the first drone anyone flys with. I'm not going to say it's easy to operate because I do feel the Airpeak has a learning curve that takes time to get use to. I would suggest starting with a smaller less expensive drone before trying to fly the Airpeak. Thanks for watching.

@@LemarGriffinfilms Thanks for your thoughts, and the link! I would agree with you however I know that I want the quality and just cannot see myself spending money on something I don't like. It's been my issue for the last 2-3 months wile making this decision.
Supernice that you have one. But i wonder if its word 8k+ more then dji mavic 2 footage... specialy now everyone watches on their phone. But hope you have a fast ROI.

Great drone until you try to fly away from the remote. Can’t go far with that battery life.

I can only speak for myself, but I've been pretty happy with it; new batteries are coming out that add more time, so that will be good. Thanks for watching appreciate you stopping by.
Do you know if this is compatible with the a7r V yet? I’ve been trying to look every to figure this out.

The update hasn’t came out yet, but I did fly the A7RV with it a few days ago and it was really smooth for me. Was super happy with the results. They should be updating it soon, but in my case I used the same setting that I fly my A1 and it worked just fine. Thanks for watching

Which clients have you been able to secure with this drone? Have you made a return on your investment?

Construction clients, NFL Athletes, Hotels... Not going to try to name every client but that's a few. Haven't made the full return on the Airpeak back yet. For what my brand needs it has done everything we hoped and more. Thanks for watching.

@@LemarGriffinfilms I saw the p/h price in Australia for experienced Drone operators. It's about $300 p/h on an Inspire 2 with three years experience. I think with the Airpeak S1 you should be able to charge at least around $5k a day of full shooting. Nothing even comes close to the video capability of this drone.

@@KTHKUHNKK I’ve made my money back off the Airpeak now. Took a year but better late then never. The system is performing really well now. Was a very good investment for myself and my business, looking forward to seeing what else Sony does to make the platform even more powerful.
