I've watched about 6 or 7 other channels on this update and your video is by far the most useful. The topics you cover are exactly the types of things I wanted to know ahead of performing the update. Side Note: another KZreadr says that after the update, he no longer sees the remaining battery charge percentage for the 3rd party batteries he uses. So not sure if that's a universal issue, or just specific to the brand(s) he has. Thanks.!

Ive updated my Sony A7S3 to 3.00 but I still cant see the *DCI 4K 24fps* option... Why is that?

Thanks for your hard work this video. My mac stops running the updater App… after telling me the camera is connected and to disconnect. But when I disconnect the updater app just disappears. Maybe this is a good thing with the bugs reported. There is a version 3.01 but I can’t find any reports of issues/ bugs. Very frustrating.

I checked it out, I see there's V3.0 for Sony A7 IV too. I updated to 2.11 few months ago.

I got sick of waiting for the update and sold my a7sIII, as it was looking like it wasn't gonna happen. So I brought a6700 and a7IV

Same and it's not much of an update either. Shame way they treated this camera.

I regret installing the upgrade. I can't install custom LUT on monitor and control app, I can't output gamma display on. Basically SLOG3 recording looks washed out. And I can't downgrade now. I can't use the monitorplus app that I used to use. USB Remote connect options have changed. WiFi doesn't work. I so regret installing it. What a scam!!!

No custom luts in a7siii is heartbreaking for me. Also some people are saying about af problems and wifi and Bluetooth problems, do you face any problems?

The only problem I have with the Bluetooth connection is when I connect the camera to the Creators' app using Bluetooth. It will connect without any problems but when I start changing the camera settings through the app it disconnects from the remote shooting function a few seconds later but I don't lose the connection to the camera. I always have to go back into the remote shooting settings a second time to continue using it. I have this same problem when I connect my A7IV to the Creators App using Bluetooth so I'm wondering if it has something to do with the app or my phone.

My AF-C doesn’t work in the memory recall dial modes since the firmware update. Does your AF-C work with using the memory recall dial modes? Thank you.

The previous versions are no longer available on Sony's website. You will have to download the version 3.0 update which includes version 2.15. Version 2.15 will apply the updates from the earlier firmware versions and some additional updates.

So many bugs with this new firmware. It’s unbelievably annoying. I’m regretting installing it.

@@Mathew-A ohh i see, this update has some positive sides but most of the features are gimmick and the update is not stable also, people are losing wifi and Bluetooth etc. Not updating to 3.00

@@Mathew-A yeah, because of bugs sony cancelled A1 firmware update yesterday already. A7siii users also facing some bugs, maybe there will be a stability and bug fix update soon from Sony.

They could have released it on April 1st, as it's a joke XD
