Thanks for putting this information together in a concise, real-world, no frills way. First new camera in 13 years and was a little ticked with A7IV kept focusing on wrong subject. Obviously USER ERROR and your vid helped me to see EXACTLY how to get the focus I need in every situation. You da focus man!

Total beginner here on mirrorless photography having done years of photography on mobile but oh boy, this video is everything one hopes in an informative video. Kudos man!

Very useful video! I've been looking for the main differences between the current Eye AF systems and this helped a lot in understanding the Sony part of the comparison. One question that wasn't explicitly mentioned in the video: you say around 7:35 that the tracking will turn on Eye AF as soon as it recognises a person, but does it do the same thing with animals and birds? Or do you need to be in the other AF Modes for that? Thank you for your reply!
