When I press display to get the options it gives a completely different screen as to the 1 shown. Any ideas? It's got the balance and all other options sound comes up too but uts not on video I also have it on auto

Throw some suggestions on what you want to see it’ll help me understand what you all need as beginners with this camera.

Been a Canon user. I bought a brand new A7II last year and I'm still not sure how to use it so I set to AutoFocus instead lol. But I'm learning. Thanks for your videos. Keep it up!

@ericsavellano there’s an log option but this camera is 8-bit so the colors will fall apart if pushed too much but yes for sure you can use s-log here on the a7ii

How should I use this Focus Mode to make my group photo a lot better? I only have a 85mm 1.8 lens. Great video btw. Big thumbs up 👍

Drop your Aperture unless you have everyone in the same even plane to be able to nail everyone in focus, focus mode should be wide in this regard as well as you need it to be able to achieve a wider focus plane.

Hello,I'm new here and I would have a question. When the camera is set in the flexible focus spot, you can't change the ISO with the classic "circle" how you would in other modes if in manual. Does this mean you have to set the ISO before using this type of focus or is there other way for changing the ISO? Maybe a stupid question, but would really appreciate some answer😅 Have to thank for your videos they have been really helpful and i really like your videos in general! Have a nice day:)

You would have to set another button to access ISO, watch the most recent video talking about Custom buttons it should at least guide you in the right direction to get it changed, and the reason this is, is because the camera is dedicating the wheel for moving the flexible spot zone when you move it around, hope this helps and is what you are referring to lol glad I can help 💪🏾

hey, I am new to this channel, I am looking for some general opinions to this camera, compared to different sony models. Is this camera still worth it in 2024? I want to go forward to fullframe, but i was asking myself if i should buy sony a6400 instead, because of his autofocus better performances. Considering I would use the camera only for photos, and i am an intermediate user, and the thing that i most hated on my apsc reflex was the very bad performance with low light. Do you think that i should buy this camera to solve that issue? or the a6400 does a good job with high iso?

If you’re wanting good photo low light go A7II but if your looking for a little of both good AF and video quality too I would go the A6400 💪🏾

Thank u for ur answer ,i bought the sony 85mm 1.8 i got it for 289eu on black friday !! I was thinking about the sigma but at the end i when for the sony because of the price !

I know your speaking of the A72, but i have the Orignal A7 w/12K shutter counts...I use to see green vertical & Horizontal tracking squares at times but for some reason i haven't seen them in quite sometime and i never see (Green)eye auto focus tracking light anymore..what did i do and how can i fix this ???........I used Ep.5 to get my answer,thanks...the A7i and A72 are not that different (only in menu , stabilization,and button position).

There’s a setting to where you can change the screens that show when that button is pressed you can switch them there and it may work similar to mines

For photography it’s killer still but for video it isn’t as good, it only shoots 1080p resolution

6400 will have better AF across the board but it’s crop sensor and not full frame like the A7II
