I am yes - Im a Nikon hybrid shooter and gimbalphobe. The giro stabalisation seems very useful to me. My only issue is there is no video/photo switch like on Nikons that automatically saves your last settings.

Is it just me, or was the Sony A7iii image sharper than the A7C? If the images you were showing are true to life then I would be saying a big NO.

I am a complete begginer in videography world and I just bought my first ever, brand spanking new Sony A7C today. I already got a Sony Zeiss 16-35mm f4 & a Sigma Art 50mm lenses. I aslo got a DJI RSC 2 gimbal for silky smooth videos. I am really glad to hear about nice out of the camera colours as at this point I know very little about colour grading. I would love to see a full tutorial on how to set up this Sony A7C for optimal video recording. I cant wait to start shooting wiht my new toy and develop my skills as an up and coming videographer.

Thank you for this! I've been looking everywhere for in depth videos on how the Sony alpha line performs in video.

I'm renting this camera with the Sony 24mm f1.4 right now and recorded my first piece of content yesterday. I also did a livestream with it last night. I will be ordering my own once my rental ends. Absolutely amazing results. Great video

I love this camera for just about the same reason you mentioned in this video. My only problem with it is the grip... If this camera had the same grip as the a6600 it would be just about perfect for my needs and how I use it. The lack of designated custom buttons was bothersome as well at first but if you take the time to do the following this camera becomes much more user friendly. 1. Configure and use the MyDial feature 2. Customize the function button menu to suit your shooting preferences 3. Add and sort your most used settings in My Menu If I were a pro I'd try to get the A7sIII but for hobbyists\youtubers Sony really got this one right.

Well said. Great tips! I understand what you're saying but for me... The grip isn't a big deal. True, I'd get the A7Siii if I had the money. But if I was strictly making youtube content, and wanted to save money and get better lenses, I'd stick with the A7C!

Great video. We have used Cannon 80D and Go Pro for 5 years. I was torn between the 24mm 1.4 GM vs the 20mm 1.8 G. Right when I thought I made up my mind, the 14mm 1.8 GM came out.. Ended up going with 14mm 1.8 GM

Just got mine last night! Love it so far. Happy to have an orange ring on my Sony finally. Cant wait to put it through its paces

Can you control the shutter speed and aperture with the touch screen?

I have a Canon M50 at the moment, but my next camera will be the Sony a7c. It just makes sense. I’m no videographer/ photographer, so ease of use means I will use it more and I love the idea of full frame in such a compact body. The size is one of the reasons I love the M50. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the video! When I have the screen flipped out to film myself, the display is not mirrored, so left is right and right is left. Very annoying. Does anyone know if there’s a setting to change this so the display is mirrored instead of opposite? I’ve been searching and searching but can’t find it either in the settings or online. 😳

Tamron 17-28 f2.8 is sharp and wide angle!

Hi, Can you see the 1/4000sec shutter speed as a problem in photography? With fast primes in sunlight. HHS works with this body?

This camera is awesome. Imagine 4k 60fps! Best things i like is The size, shutter sound and The tracking focus 🤩 and The flip screen! The autofocus is superfast compare to a7iii 👍

Just wondering what are your settings for video mode?

When you move from manual mode to video does the camera save your last settings and vice versa.

I am thinking of getting the Sony a7C or the Fujifilm XT4. I am looking for the system that allows me to take hand held HDR. Three exposures from one shot. I believe that is ISO Bracketing. It was on the fujifilm xt 20 which had this feature. Three exposures from one shot.

Bought it yesterday as a B camera to my a7Siii and wow finally both my cameras match perfectly with the same colour science!!!

Any overheating issues? One of the reviews on Amazon said it overheated after 40 minutes of shooting in 4k because it's in such a small body. Please give us an update on how long it can film in 1080p, and how long in 4k. Thanks.

Not related with recording, but I used this recently for livestream, HDMI connected, for 3 hours with display on, and it didn't overheat. Amazing camera.

I’m just waiting when I’m gonna get this camera, tomorrow I’ll get it. And also I hope about 4K 60fps 😍 #sony please

Great video, but I would like to mention one thing which is the price of the glass. Apsc prime lenses are a lot cheaper than full frame sensor lenses. So if you are on a tight budget, you should take that into consideration.

Hi, I created my first vlog on my new Sony ZV-1 - But now I am trying to figure out how to upload it to my computer. I tried to put the memory card in the reader but it does not slide in and I do not want to force it into the Reader - just seems like I do not know how to place it in the reader. as it is the right sandsdisk reader , and I did I check with Sony. Then I tried to transfer the video file directly from camera to computer with USB but when I open DCIM I folder on computer in says "empty" - (the computer is recognizing the Camera USB). Anyway, there is a missing piece here - if anyone knows I would appreciate it. I am eager to get my first vlog on my computer and edit it. Thanks.

Noll, what lens will you be using for self vlogging? Is that 20mm wide enough or do you prefer something else?

At 7:42 its the sony Bluetooth handle the next clup looks like the M2 gimbal - both with the 28-60 kit lens

I have been debating on this one or the a6600. Tank you forhelping me Make the decision. But now I am not sure if the purchase it today or wait to a possibly black Friday sale.

A7C is better in my opinion

Yeah it sounds good, but I got the GH5 for half price brand new, £990 ($1100) and that came with a £200 gimbal... I think 4K 60p also sold it for me.
