Well, your videos have helped me. Helped me spend money! haha. Now i own the a6600 with the Sigma 56 1.4. And i do NOT regret it. I'm still getting used to it but compared to the Canon T3i i was using for 9 years, the difference is beautiful. Here i am at your channel again.. My old hands have a hard time keeping that (56mm) sucker steady. So here we are again. Crane? Next!

Great video! I have the Crane M3, a6700 sigma 18-50 + Sony 11mm and have 2 the Canon R6 + 35MM this combo weight 1 Kilo and the Gimbal stability is perfect but this the limit cant Suport

Next time you can compare 16 23 30 & 56mm f1.4. great review!

I have the Crane M2S with my a6600 and the 18-50 and 56mm. it handles my gear well enough, although I am at the limit of that gimbal. It's also just kind of too small to comfortably hold as well. Honestly the one piece of gear I regret simply because they aren't cheap and I rarely use it.

@Stuart Rodwell Cracking footage and video, lovely and concise - to the point. You've got a talent for these vids! Separately, is it me or does this combo of the Sigmas and A6700 produce a lot of Chromatic Aberration visible on the borders of high contrast areas? There seems to be a lot on these clips, unless it's some filter/ effect?

Brilliant this. I have the A6700, 18-50 and 56 and been looking at gimbals. I got the M2S for Christmas but it wouldn't balance. Did you have to rebalance each time you changed lenses and if you were to take the gimbal off and put in your bag, how long would it take to balance you think? I'm looking at this, weebill-s and dji rs3 mini.

What about the Sigma 23mm? , nobody ever talks about that lens. It would be cool if you could do a review on it, comparing it to the other Sigma primes. Nonetheless awesome video!

Just bought ms3, i have 18-50mm and 56mm sigma. Just want to ask if you rebalance the gimbal whenever you change lens with those 2 lenses? Havent tried it yet because i im busy at work hahahahah😊

I'm in extreme doubt between these Sigma prime lenses and the two Viltrox prime lenses, the 27mm and the 75mm 1.2. I really wanted a review of yours with the Sony 6700 using these viltrox vs sigma prime lenses. Thank you very much, your videos are incredible!

Hello Stuart! Some fantastic content there on your channel! I am purchasing a Sony A6700 mostly for Video, travel and some dance shoots of my partner. I am upgrading from the Sony A6400 and have concerns with using Sigma lenses for video as they don't have stabilization. I am torn between the Sony 50 F1.8 OSS and the Sigma 56 F1.4, buying mostly for video. From your usage is the IBIS on the Sony A6700 good enough to manage the micro jitters with the Sigma 56 F1.4 ?? I am concerned mostly for 24/30 fps 4k video, where I wont have the luxury of slowing down the video to remove the shakes unlike the 60 fps.

Did you use any IBIS or post-prod stabilization?

Great video. Does anyone know if the crane m3s is actually fully camera control compatible withe the a6700? Its very hard to to find information on this and the a6700 is NOT on the compatibility list. Many thanks

I have the m3 and used it some with my a6600 and Sigma primes. It was great until I picked up the Osmo pocket 3 which is just too easy to get great footage.

Will you review the Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 lens for Sony? What do you think about the lens?

if I put a FF /APS-C lens on the Sony a6700, would the image quality be better than using a normal aps-c lens?

As far as I’m aware, no, a FF lens won’t improve image quality on an APSC camera. Although it’s all relative. I.e a full frame Sigma Art lens is always going to look better than the Sony APSC kit lens. Hope that makes sense.

Can you shoot portrait with a gimble like this?
