    So I played it back twice. I don't want image stabilization turned on? It will ruin my long exposure.

    That is correct. Image stabilisation off.

    For sure. You need your camera to be super stable for long exposure photos, which is pretty self explanatory, but the stabilisation inside the camera will still try to make micro adjustments due to the long exposure time, even though the camera is fixed in position. These Micro adjustments will cause the image to be soft, almost out of focus when viewed later on. Hope this helps.
