I have this lens. It has fantastic image quality for the piece. I've even used it on paid gigs and my clients were very happy with the results.
I used to have one with my canon system, I called it the nifty fifty!
It was hated because it doesn't have any stabilization. Now that cameras have ibis and digital stabilization available, a cheap lens is just fine. Also better autofocus systems in cameras mean that a slower AF in the lens is less of a problem.
hey! I have this lens and it does not auto focus during video. I have it on an A7ii. Any suggestions?

Set your Af to AF-C while on video mode and see if that helps?

You need to upgrade ur camera's firmware to v.3 or above

@@thatguymichaelhtx You can't upgrade the Len's firmware. You need to upgrade the cameras firmware. All the instructions are on Sony's website. Super simple task :)

Hahaha you probably were the first view, the video takes time to process when freshly uploaded lol. You should be able to watch it in 4K now 😎
