Shame there was not more fishing, I know Lee said it was a hard early season session, would off been nice to see his changes to winkle out those few extra fish.😱👏

How do you judge where to put your ground bait in with regards to depth and flow of the river??

Bloody hell, it must cost you a fortune to go fishing. I don’t use any ground bait, I scatter a few freebies around my hook baits and that’s all they get.😃

Make you wonder if he would use that mix and all that bait if he had to pay for it 🤷‍♂️

Can I ask why you use Pinkies in the groundbait and not Squatts? I always thought Squatts were the go to bait to put into groundbait because they are least likely to break the balls up and they stay put on the bottom.

Yeah, great mix but how many people can spend 30 plus quid on bait for a day?

In summer a very light leam or soil kicks you off first so dig that out on initial then go for sticky. and then go for a very light cloud if it is hard.......so hard to explain......soft supper heavy coud

Very similar to slop at mid depth down. Clays and ultra fine breads are best for that.....not sure about GBs but there are a few.

Hi Lee you said in your instructions on how to make your groundbait that it is most important to mix your dry groundbait with your drill to get everything mixed proper yet you emptied your groundbait in then just dropped your water and hemp straight into your unmixed groundbait so it's not important really is it !!!!!

Hi Pete, Thanks for your observation. What I actually say is that if you are mixing grounbait by hand, you should mix the dry ingredients. But if you’ve got a drill, you can just blast it all together in one go! 😉
