i wonder if itll be smoother once the shader cache builds from the community. also might be worth testing this with cryo utilities 2.

If they add shader cache, should be more smoother.

I've played for like an hour on steam deck with the dynamic resolution set to 30fps on the default settings and it's perfectly playable but then it crashed my whole steam OS. Not sure why your frame rate was this bad on these settings, I didn't have the metrics pulled up when I played but it felt like a fairly consistent 30fps with some hiccups loading shaders

the settings are a mess. you can restart the game with the same settings three times and get three times a different framepacing - not just on steamdeck but on regular PC´s with pretty good hardware too. since its early access so I hope they will improve performance before full release :)

@@chuck25 micro SD on a 64gb steam deck. The crashing seems like it could be caused by a memory leak, but even with medium-high settings I'm getting a pretty consistent frame rate leading up to the crash, which has now happened 3 times, each time after about an hour of play.

Wasn't even pushing my Steam Deck, just for real stuck between 15-20 frames
