It is very difficult for a group to stay together year after year after year. Groups are composed of different personalities,some are content to stay,others want to venture out on their own.Whatever the case we can only wish them very best and thank them for their outstanding performances.

I saw her sing this song yesterday in Amsterdam and ... it was amazing!

sad and beautiful, voice like crystal and best rendition. Tinged with sadness too as she is singing it in tribute to all the thousands of Derry factory women who sang as they worked. This was one of their favourites. Most Derry families had relatives who worked in the shirt factories so it has a particular significance there.

I can't wait to see her with Celtic Woman. I've seen Chloe with them 10 times and I hope to see Mairead Carlin that much also.

It was such a Pleasure to hear this Song from her in Cologne and Frankfurt this year. For me, she is my No. 1 Celtic Woman right now! Sure, we all miss Chloe, but if she goes Solo, thats ok. Hope to hear much more from Máiréad now :) Can't wait till her Album will be released in 2014.

Mairead will do just fine in CW. David Knows great talent. if he picked Mairead that's good enough for me. Each new person brings/has something special. the dynamic may change but, its always been a positive one. will Miss Chloe but very happy for all the new things in store for Her and the Fans.

This song was composed in 1949 by my late great aunt, Evelyn Danzig Levine, in Port Washington, NY. Lyrics by Jack Segal.

Everyone seems to be using the word "replace". IMHO, I think it's more of a case of just another chapter in the world of C.W. Different singers...different styles. Hmmm. Doctor Who does the same thing and it's lasted for 50 years. :)

The point of replacing any ainger in Celtic Woman is not to pick one that sounds exactly the same. She's wonderfully talented in her own way. No two voices were ever meant to sound the same. It other people trying to mimick that has made music of this day and age so bland.

She's no Chloe replacement, but who is? All the singers have been different in their own way and contributed wonderfully to Celtic Woman. While I do lament every time a CW member leaves, especially an original one, we all come around to welcoming the new freshman. :-)

Chloe's replacement? I will keep an open mind. :-)

She seems a brilliant new member for Celtic Woman... but to me no one will ever take the place of Chloe.
