Nobody is documenting races better than you right now. There's a crystal-clear sense of the course, the runners, and the people that make this event possible by watching this. The on-the-run footage, the drone shots, the clips from aid stations, they all help highlight the beauty and appeal of our sport while simultaneously presenting the less glorious challenges of finishing such an event. Following multiple runners tells a more complete and engaging story than just following the leaders, though I must say that footage of the initial 5-person lead pack was dope. I might never run Sonoma, but you've taken me there and given me a piece of the experience with this 30 minute video. Keep making these types of videos, please!

I would donate $$$ to make sure Chris Mocko gets to race, and gets filmed. Dakota is the nicest. Sage is incredible. Wang is a beast for essentially running solo all day.

You are really setting the bar very high - fantastic show; being right in there with the runners is so cool; you feel like you are there. Great motivation. Loved the bit with Mocko's Jack Sparrow quote : He's catching up! - What a hoot that guy is - sign him up Jam Jam for one of your channels!

That downhill sequence chasing Dakota is FUCKING EPIC!!!

Jamil - best one yet. Love Mocko's humour.

This is next level. I didn't think it could get any better than Hawks vs Miller, but here it is.

I have no words for this video, man, I've been waiting years for something like this, I would really loved to see the HK100K or UTMB in this way. No matter what happen... you have to keep doing this amazing work, beautiful shots, beautiful place, beautiful people, great editing skills, and amazing music choice, everything fits. And a special mention for Sage and Sandi's moment at 27:49, a lot of emotions, I was almost crying cause I know the pain that you go through after the finish line. A true love for sure. #TeamRunSteepGetHigh

This video raises the bar for what's possible in trail-ultra films that focus on the competitive aspect. I know that this is a passion but I think that sponsors and race directors should take note of this kind of quality work ... it definitely deserves compensation. Awesome work!

Hands down, Ultra Film of the YEAR! The mic has been dropped and it's only April. I know A Decade On and Life In A Day dropped, but these were last years races and honestly, they don't compare. Billy Yang last year had the "anthem" with this race film. Aravaipa in 2017 has the EPIC! Holy Shit, this is what I was waiting for from you guys! Great job!

You know you are doing something right when the quality of footage is better than on ESPN and Eurosport. Hope you long continue doing this because you are motivating a lot of people just to go out and do something with their life. Stay strong.

Films like this really make me feel as though we are living in the Golden Age of trail running/ultras. One day, when you can't move for people running on the hills, we will look back at work like this and remember how good we had it

Nailed it, exactly the kind of coverage from a race everyone is dying to see! Even the bigger races hardly cover the action and just make a promo video 3 months later. This was edited in a few days only!

runaao I'm still trying to figure out how the footage is so stable. POV trail running videos this stable and smooth on the regular would be incredible. Especially for days when I've gotta hit the treadmill.

great job in all aspects! my favorite part was the women finishing holding hands. camaraderie is a huge part of the trail running identity and this race (particularly that scene) demonstrated it perfectly!

So I just watched this for the 2nd time...trying to get pumped for my North Face 50 Mass race on 6/10 and I have to say that if there was an Emmy category for Best Endurance Sport Documentary of the Year...this would be it ! Its just so damn fluid and inspiring. As an added bonus it highlighted imho, some of the coolest people in the sport, Sage,Dakota,YiOu , Magda and Kaci. I just got my Run Steep Get High cap last week as a show of support for your fantastic "free" content Jam/JAm and will order more stuff soon. Thanks and keep up this amazing work but I hope you also continue to train hard for your own races because you are very accomplished as well. Peace.
